Gretz starting for AV and Casper for Eagan, Casper an X-Eagle who transfered after not making Varsity when he tried out as a Freshman. I have heard Casper promised the AV kids he would shut them out tonight. Should be a good game.

Apple Valley-4 (EN)
Eagan-1

Eagan has trouble scoring this year, they have a shot at this one if they get AV in the box alot because they have had their troubles killing the penalty this year.

AV - 4
Eagan - 2

Although I'm not sure how well AV will do on an olympic sheet I don't think Eagan has enough power to score on Gretz.

Eagan-1 or 2 (EN?)
Valley-0

Valley outplayed, outshot Eagan but that does not win you games. Shots were 19-13 Valley going into the 3rd, dunno about final I'm guessing about 31-19 or so somewhere around there is a guess. Gretz played great for AV tonight in the net the 1st goal not his fault early PP for Eagan in the first in which a Eagan player came from behind the goal and skated out in front and no defender stepped up, took a wrist shot went off a lazy defender and deflected up into the goal otherwise I think Gretz had the save. Valley hit the post in the second on a great set-up, the empty-netter was questionable the ref gave it to him I don't think it was in though before the buzzer at all but whatever doesn't matter. The ref I think felt bad for Whitney who scored the EN because earlier he had a penalty shot and went to take his shot just a normal wrister nothing fancy and fanned on the puck completely. Casper kept his promise with the shutout but the 2 things AV did a poor job of tonight was taking shots and quality ones on the PP and screening Casper he was able to see everything tonight.
