Maybe I missed his name ............. you can add Student from BSM on the list as one of the state's fastest. He may be the best overall, pure skater in the state.

I've seen the Bergland kid on several occassions in the Elite League and a couple games this year. He plays hard both ways plus every game I've seen he's had break aways in every game. He has ability to do more but chooses to be play maker. You probably have not seen this kid skate - he can fly!!
Yes, Barnes has D1 speed - he's is deceptive and would compete as fast. He too has several opportunities to break away at any time. Oh, you probably have not seen this kid skate toooooo - he can fly!!

I don't and Mattson isn't either. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that they are highly skilled, quality players.

come to a burnsville game sometime and watch hendrickson and barnes.
Barnes has pullaway speed and can keep up with anyone. Hendo is a quick skater with breakaway ability.
Both guys obviously have the speed for d1 and they could keep up with anyone in the state. Zack king also on Burnsville and JT brown of rosemount both can fly as well
