Stan Bautch from Hibbing in 1982. He was 6'-2" but went at least 200 lbs.

On the flip side the smallest goalie that I've ever seen is Wayne State's back up goalie, Mike Devoney. He got some playing time on Saturday against the Gophers when their starter got pulled. He's listed as 5'7" but honestly can't be over 5'2" without skates on.

If we're talking HS, Ben Utecht (Hastings) was pretty big .... big enough to play tight end in the NFL

USCHO says he is 6-3 190lbs.
Ben Dover plays BOTH ways.

I believe he's 6'7" or 6'8"
SPA's goalie is 6'5" and Minnehaha's goalie is 6'8". The two played together in the 4 on 4 league this fall. Pretty sure it was unofficially the tallest goalie tandom ever.

Bryan McCallum from Rogers is pretty tall. I wanna say 6'3"? CNT could probably get the roster out and figure it out.

Randy Johnson? I don't remember him as being all that big. Especially compared to the real "Big Unit."

He moves well enough, and has drawn interest from scouts to play at the college level. Let's face it, a 6'8" goalie doesn't need to rely on movement the way a 5'8" goalie does.
