Look at it as this player just finished up his high school career yesterday. Anyways, as far as in high school I am very surprised Gino Guyer hasn't been mentioned. Aaron Miskovich was also outstanding. Alex Goligoski was probably the best D in the state during his senior year. He was very fun to watch in HS also. I know these three aren't the best ever, but they deserve mention.
Exactly my point.

And I like the Gino Guyer pick. All-State 3 years in a row, not too shabby.

Gino Guyer (Greenway) is the best I have seen in this decade.

Here's a cool site I came across when looking him up. http://www.mnpuck.com/BoysAll-TimeTopPlayers.htm

Great site! I didn't know about it. Maybe the Wooger is deserving of a vote!

i think you almost have to go by decade because of how much things change...i honestly do not think mayasich would be nearly as successful playing today as he was back in the stone age.....hell when they played against teams like staples in the state tournament..yes staples....who hasnt had a team for the pasthalf century i think his records are a little skewed...they had to teach teams the rules of offsides etc during the games eveleth played against cause they didnt know hockey...they just strapped on some catalogs and slapped it around...learned all this from the new bernstein book...a good read if you like history.

Wooger's stepping stone to the Gophers!

Phil Housley was a stud. Fairly impressive NHL run as well. Not to mention, he never played college hockey.

My vote is for any of the four Hanson Bros. Leaning toward the one not in the movie. Yes, I know there were only three, but I give the one actor credit for actually having the real last name Hanson.

Mayasich was most dominant during his time.

Broten is the most well known and popular.

Housley was the best.

Jake Hansen :?:

Ya lets pick an unproven guy just because he is the hometown boy.

Seriously these WBL guys are worse than AP and Circle.

Really? You are that obsessed with minnesota hockey that you would consider an import to be one of the best.
