Welch doesn't sound familiar. It has been a long time though. Which school was he from? I remember guys like Ryan Johnson, Jesse Burgess, and Eason from Anoka, or Perez from Blaine. Obviously, Martin from Elk River.

Despite what I have said so far, I will have to give the ER goalie some credit. I mean the kid did let in six today, but I was in awe at the back door save he made v. Edina using the splits. And near the end of the game tonight, he made another one timer save using the full on splits today that pretty "nasty"

O man Welch would have played what? 6-8 years ago lol. I dont think he finished out his senior year due to academic complications.

PS He was a net minder for CP.

I dont understand how the Elks could ever lose a game with as loyal of hometown fans as they have. Many other cities in the state, the fans would be gone halfway through the third with the score 6-1. The ER fans kept on doing Elk chants untill the buzzer rang. Looks like Sarsland doesnt repay his debt to his fans :D .

But whats the deal with the ER fans sieving the CP goalie before the start of the third? I mean the score WAS 5-1.

Elk River's fans always talk trash and are loyal to their team, no matter how bad they are losing. You gotta give them some respect for staying the whole game and still doing cheers in an absolutely ugly loss.
