Nick Hinz, D
#10 from North St Paul

I have watched a lot of Bantam games this year in Dist. 2 and a couple good tourneys as well. I have yet to see a player as good as him. He can skate, shoot, and hit with the best of them.

I watched a lot of the Bloomington tourney this week and North St. Paul was certainly not a very strong team and did not have any really outstanding players. If he is the best player that you have seen you might want to go up north or watch some district 6 games and see where the real talent is.

i_live_4_hockey,

Your right, they don't have the strongest team. That is why Hinz stands out so much. He plays at a high level without a lot of help. I have watched them play 10 games this year against some good teams. Minnetonka, Maple Grove, Stillwater, Hastings, Jefferson, White Bear Lake and Eagan come to mind. He was the best player on the ice for either team in all those games. I have talked with a few coaches in Dist. 2 who think he is one of the top players in the Dist. So I don't need to travel to see real talent. I know it when I see it, thanks.

Then you would be wrong. Hinz is right there with all of these players and maybe better than some of them. Remember I said in the game I happened to watch he was better than them. Overall some of these kids might be right there in the same group. Look, all I am trying to say about Hinz is that he is a player and should be mentioned in the same sentence with the better players around. You can try to say different, but if you ask around you will find most coaches in D. 2 agree he is one of the top players, if not the top player in the district.

Matt How continues to play very well for Grand Rapids. He netted three in a 5-3 loss against EP today.

Is Juntenun #16 for New Ulm and doesn't he DangleallDay? If it is the player I am thinking of he is a much improved player from a year ago.

I definetly think #16 Ty Jindra is the best player on Andover Bantam A, hands down. his speed and strength are unmatched in district 10. i look forward to seeing him play in high school and college.

watchdog assuming your acutally from Roseau you would know he gave up 8 goals against roseau and got pulled in the moorhead tournament. so dont know if you could actually call the rapids goalie the star of the team. Also rapids has some very good skaters being Zach Dick, Matt How, Patrick Moore, and Ryan Dumm who could more readily be considered stars of the team

everyone plays a bad game once in awhile. he played awesome in the maple grove game and the roseau game. shots in the roseau game were 40-21 you dont think he was your best player? i didnt see any forwards or defense stand out to win that game.
