Big, big win for Wayzata. Roseville solidifies their position.

Check that Hopkins score, I think it was 4-2.

Thanks for pointing this out.

It doesn't get any easier in the Classic Lake for Edina, as they play Hopkins on Saturday. They will be seeking revenge after losing 0-3 to them earlier in the season. The Classic Lake only has 5 teams, but it sure is competitive.

You're all over it MNHF

They (Edina) are a hard team to figure out. As for what I have seen, I feel they have a hard time scoring. They are deep and solid as always, do a pretty good job defensively and are able to bottle up teams, but seem to rely on the big play offensively. Their fortunes often seem to live and die on the shoulders of their goaltending. They certainly don't shy away from excellent competition though and that might pay off come sections.

Time to see if my crystal ball works...

Saturday, January 12
Elk River 3, Blaine 2
Roseville 4, White Bear Lake 2
Edina 2, Hopkins 1
Grand Rapids/Greenway 5, Roseau 2
Crookston 3, Hibbing 1

confidence is very low for the ER-Blaine and Edina-Hopkins game.

I'd be inclined to tighten up this score based on the Crookston-Rap/Gway game tonight. Roseau has one more gear than Crookston does.

I've seen Roseau play. I have seen Rapids/Gway play a lot. It should be a great game, but I predicted both games as 5-2 games, so I am going to stick with this score. GRG can really bury good teams when they are clicking on all digits. I think tomorrow they will. Erickson's last game in her home building...should be wild.

Boblee, your slipping a bit. Got the GRG score correct at 5 but Roseau got more than you predicted

I'm sitting at 26-2-1 predicting the correct winner this year...I wouldn't say I'm slipping. Granted there are four more games today that will effect that.

Edina 5
Hopkins 1
FINAL

My prediction was:

Edina 2
Hopkins 1

Got the win correct, and one teams score again.

You would have to be a big Hornet fan to predict that kind of a margin.
