The Week Ahead For GR

Post by GR3343 »

Any thoughts about the coming week? This week will tell a lot about who the team is and what they're about. Starting tomorrow, the Indians have a stretch of tough games home and away. A road game in Bloomington tomorrow followed by home games Tuesday vs Hermantown, Thursday vs East and Saturday vs Stillwater. Great tests to get the second half rolling. I personally look for the orange and black to go 3-1 through this stretch and start really jelling as a team. Good luck boys, ever forward.

As long as that 1 loss comes against East, I have no problems with that plan!

These are the games that prepare you for late Feb and March.
It's obviously nice to win, but just playing hard every shift against good competition is what will payoff in the end.
It's a wide open run for the post season as of now.
GO GR. :)

So Rapids goes 2 - 2 in their biggest week of the season thus far. Not terrible, but not quite the 3 - 1 I was hoping for. The Indians should some heart, while not catching too many breaks, and I applaud their effort. Another big week coming up with a huge game against Cloquet on Tues. night, and another against Hibbing on Friday. Look for the black and orange sweep this week as GR builds off a workmanlike(if unimpressive)win against Stillwater. The boys know it's getting down to crunch time and their attitudes seem right. Good luck this week, boys, get it done.
