Rosemount recently had a big win vs b'ville as the Jags suffered a tough loss to b'ville. Both teams right now are looking good in the Lake standings and this game can decide the top team (for this week anyway lol)
It's also an intruging game to see the top goal scorers in the Lake Conference in Brown and O'Donnell. I think this game will come down to which ever team wants it more. They both have great talent that cancels each other i think so whoever works and plays the hardest should come out with this one......

Should be another great game in the lake. I just don't see the Jags losing 2 in a row.

I truly think this game will be decided by goaltending. We know that two of the best goal scorers in the state will be playing, but the play of the goalies will be very important.

Morgan has played very well for the Irish the past three games, giving up 2 goals in that span. Granted, he didn't have to make too many saves against Rochester Century, but he has been playing very well as of late.

If the Irish get a solid performance from him, and stay out of the box and play their game, they should come out on top on their home ice.

Irish-4

even though jefferson lost to burnsville yesterday, im liking their chances against rosemount. The Irish goialie morgan is playing unreal right now but the jags now how to pepper the goalie and create chances. Tom odonnell Vs. Jt Brown----Great matchup

Morgan is playing well and seems to be having fun, so i think thats the difference maker here.

The irish are outshot but still win 4-3

brown and company will be too much for the young jags, will be a close game either way. the jags cannot afford to take any dumb penalties, or they will be playing catch up all game.

I don't think we'll have to worry about the Jags getting dumb penalties...I'm pretty sure Mcmanus was the one running his mouth at the refs last game getting sent to the box for 10 minutes

i take it you have an inside source telling you that this game will have the same brutal refs as last game.

Nah, I'm just assuming that players who generally yap at refs continue to do it and if the Jags frustrate the Irish like they did in the last game it might happen again and it wouldn't have to be the same ref, no ref that officiates these games likes gettin told the business from some high school hockey player......

The jags didn't get in the Irish players heads, it was the ref blowing the play dead when the irish were on a 3 on 1 because the kid that McManus absolutely murdered with a clean check laid on the ice like a little girl.

yea and we know from all levels of hockey that if theres a player injured, their team has to touch the puck for the play to be stopped.

and apparently youve never been on a team good enough to have a 3 on 1 so youd never know whats it like.

Well if they'd have scored on that 3 on 1, they still lose 5-4 so......oh well

agreed and it seems golden hockey has no denial that he has never been on a team good enough to engineer a 3 on 1.

Alright Alright

so apprently what i've learned so far is:

-that one of the top teams in the state has a few girls on it that get hit and don't get up
-rosemount would have had the momentum and beat the jags if it weren't for the ref blowing dead a 3 on 1
-i have an inside source telling me that tuesday nights game will have the same brutal refs
-and i have never played on a team good enough to have a 3 on 1

Anyway, that was fun for awhile but I'll bring this back to the original point with my prediction that I earlier posted......

Jags 5
Irish 3
(and hopefully there is no 3 on 1 blown dead for any team this time so we won't have to dispute whether or not the right team won based off momentum turns)

I never said the wrong team won. I was just stating that the refs killed all the momentum rosemount had with that call. I do understand that hockey is a game of momentum shifts. In all reality, I just like to argue with people. way to get us back on topic though.

I'm gonna go with a 3-3 tie

I have an inside source with the officiating crew. I would only assume the officiating schedulers would send one of the better crews for this game, since it is quite an important game for the H20 conference... Not to mention they probably know what happened in the first outing of these two teams.

I have a feeling the crowd with be a factor in the game for the shamrocks. They will come after the furry cats with some force because they know what the darn felines did to them in the first game.

It will probably be a fast paced, and medium scoring event with a substantial home crowd.

4-3 or 5-3 in favor of the Shamrocks
