At times when they left it may have been due to other issues other than giving the skater a greater opportunity. Maybe they didn't like the coach, position skater playing, quality of the team, etc.
Either way it is unfortunate that the kids loose out or are put in a bad position by adults.

Did this survey go the way you thought it would or were the results what you expected? It seem as if the majority are not necessarily for AAA, but feel it can be done...with a limited few feeling that AAA is an erosion problem for the associations.
Just wondering if it went how you expected...

I didn't really know what to expect. Can't say there's a surprise... SOME (not all) people would have a problem with it. There might be kids that leave and return only to have a challenge because someone has a problem.Tenoverpar wrote:Otown,

I see more out-of-association options in the future. Kids in Edina, Wayzata, Centennial, and other top-tier programs don't need options, but superb players from places like Rogers, Waconia, or Mounds View will certainly be interested in playing on better teams. Today there's the Fire. Tomorrow?
