I said:
Warroad (3A) vs. Roseau (5A) Warroad 4-3 Roseau wins 2-1
Duluth (7AA) vs. Hibbing (8A) Duluth 5-1 They tie 1-1
Eagan (9AA) vs. Breck (2A) Breck 3-2 Eagan wins 3-2
Hopkins (8AA) vs. Eastview (23AA) Hopkins 5-2 Hopkins wins 4-1
White Bear Lake (15AA) vs. Hastings (16AA) Hastings 3-1 WBL wins 3-0
GRG (3AA) vs. Proctor/Hermantown/DM (22AA) GRG 6-1 P/H/DM wins 2-1

This is tougher than I thought it was going to be!
Edit: make that 1 for 6, White Bear Lake beats Hastings 3-0 and Hopkins bests Eastview 4-1.

I don't see how anyone would have done well tonight, unless they were throwing darts or picking the teams with the prettiest uniforms.

Here's one for ya
White Bear Lake 3 Hastings 0
Lenz had 25 saves and they shut down Welch with the excepton of 3 big blasts she got off. Man can she shoot! Great pace all night though. After a scoreless first and a nice goal from Natalie Hall in the 2nd. WBL got 2 quick ones in the third to seal it

White Bear seems to have really picked it up, after having tied Roseville 2-2 in their last game and recently beating both Centennial and CDH. Definitely a team that can't be taken lightly by anyone, that's for sure.

I don't mean to nitpick, but if you pick one team to win, and then the game finishes in a tie, shouldn't you get a loss for that? There are three possible outcomes and you didn't pick the correct one..... You could have picked the game to be a tie. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Take it for what it's worth from someone who doesn't even have the cahones to predict games on this forum :)

So what happened to the huge Alex dominance and blowout that was supposed to happen?

Alex 40 SOG - Tech 20 SOG. I would say that Alexandria dominated the game - no one predicted a blowout. A blowout in my score book is when you have running time for third period.

Sorry, I was just under the impression a team like Alex would not have a problem with a team like Tech. "No offense" as GoCards would say.

give it a rest quin. you are still caught up in my questioning of techs 4-0 win over centennial... I thought kaasa came up lucky on quite a few scrambles in front of her net. Personally, I think the score could have been much worse in favor of alex. I dont think anyone said it was going to be a blowout. All of the predictions were close.

For tonight we've just got the Stillwater-White Bear Lake game.

Predictions so far include:

twowayplay - Stillwater 3-2
pacman - Stillwater 5-1
MNHockeyFan - Stillwater 5-1
GOCARDS1 - Stillwater 4-1
boblee - Stillwater 4-2
gopher25 - Tie 2-2

Can WBL pull an upset?

Well, I guess if you say Kaasa got lucky with some of the scrambles in front of her net, then so did Justice... I'll give it a rest as long as you stop saying such arrogant statements.

And give Kaasa some credit, 96 saves out of 99 shots between both games isn't lucky with that much repetition.

That's all I have left to say, so kudos to Alex.
