I'd guess Furne will get 2 years in the USHL then to a big D1, probably WCHA. I'd also like to hear from some northern guys about where they think Nelson, and also Moeser (sp?) will end up.who_b_dat wrote:Has Furne from Hill or Nelson from Roseau been committed yet?Seriously though- anyone looking at these kids?

Furne has not committed. I heard he has heard from some schools. Wisconsin is among them. It sounds like he wants to go to North Dakota, but not sure if he has had any interest shown from them.who_b_dat wrote:Has Furne from Hill or Nelson from Roseau been committed yet?Seriously though- anyone looking at these kids?

I have heard that there are colleges talking. CC is among the top of his list so far with Denver being another team. I am sure he will be pretty steady in college as he is very strong on his skates and can put the puck in the net.College Fan wrote:What about Garrick Perry for Eastview. He gets hidden behind Maloney and Larson but looks great this season.

I don't think Nelson or Moser are D1 caliber, although they are both good hockey players and they will likely play some hockey after HS be it Juniors or D3.DubCHAGuy wrote:I'd guess Furne will get 2 years in the USHL then to a big D1, probably WCHA. I kinda doubt that Moser will make it to D1, but Nelson definitely will play somewhere. He might get sent to the Juniors for a year and put on a weightlifting program, but Nelson already has the skating and stick-handling skills of a D1 player.black sheep wrote:I don't think Nelson or Moser are D1 caliber, although they are both good hockey players and they will likely play some hockey after HS be it Juniors or D3.DubCHAGuy wrote:I'd guess Furne will get 2 years in the USHL then to a big D1, probably WCHA. Re: Hockey
I was not real impressed with JT Brown against Jefferson. Stands at the red line and waits for a pass or coasts back to the D zone while hoping he can get an outlet pass after the other team has a 3 on 1... I agree with Berglund and O'Donnel but JT will have to learn to play some in his own defensive zone...greenbandit wrote:Bergland - BSM
