Anyways, good luck this weekend to Roseau. I have to give your team credit for matching up against what more than likely are the best 2 teams in the state this year even though the Fire are from Wisconsin (allegedly).

I think Roseau has a chance to beat both teams in their own rink in front of their own fans. should be a full house

I hope you will be there since you are playing in the game.. I will take EP by 3 minimum over your squad and the Fire by at least the same. You guys picked the right 2 teams to start out the tourney if you were looking for great competition but the wrong 2 teams if you were looking to win your own tournement.

Good luck!!!

This cant be him for one thing because i beleive he would be in school and one more thing i think roseau wont loose by three it will be a close hard battle
Lol! you just called yourself out. He never reffered to a specific person on the team, he said you're on the team. and you can post on the school computers just as long as you have internet.

Oh and by the way Omdahl...........2-1 haha see ya in districts

Where are all the Roseau boys???????? they dont seem to be talking themselves up tonight as much as usual... or at all for that matter.

Can we stop hearing about how good you are for a while now? A little bit of humble pie for dinner tonight maybe?

Well at least you stayed within 3 of GR, a moral victory of sorts considering what EP and the Fire did to ya.

I was reading on here that you even called out GR and said they would see who the better team was.. oops

I have some advice for you Roseau players.. quit self promoting and telling everyone how good you are, along with critisizing your teammates on this board and play hockey..

You have along way to go if you want to catch the big boys...

Roseau boys...look on the HS Forums...do you see Mr. Aaron Ness or Mr. Mike Lee or anyone bragging themselves up? I sure dont.

I agree, Im from the River East team and in a tournament Rememberance Day weekend we beat Roseau to go to the finals, they arent that great of a team. 1 star forward and a defenceman is all they have. Congrats to Eden Prarie, watched them before our game against Maple Grove, they are good..

You boys need to quit piling it on the Roseau club. The town runs some real nice tournaments up their and they are great hosts to many teams this time of year.

I hope you are from Roseau. If you are, you are so lucky. I can only speak for our players, coaches, and parents, YOU HAVE A GREAT TOWN and an AWESOME ASSOCIATION.

Our team had so much fun in Roseau this past weekend.

There was not a person that didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome....and that includes the boys on the Roseau VFW Bantam A.

There is SO MUCH more to HOCKEY than another win or loss!!!

Everyone should make an effort to get up to ROSEAU for a tournament.

Thanks Billy for all the "legion chips"....

As for the incident on Sunday, I was not at Memorial so I am not an expert...I had just heard that something happened during the RIVER EAST game on Sunday morning.

Alright here is the real story..

We were playing buffalo and winning 4-1 or so and one of our players hit their smallest guy into the boards, which hurt him, but it was a completely clean hit (maybe a little uncalled for since we were winning) this started a little fight. The team was defending their player. One of our players started throwing punches which got him kicked out.

their team then started to go out to hurt since they know they had lost, which then started another fight after one of our players hit a guy, the guy came after him and he defended himself, all 5 of their players ganged up on him and then our players came in which started another fight. With a minute left they called the game.

After the game an Adult from Roseau grabbed the first player that got kicked out by the shirt and yelled at him to "Get the hell out of the arena" our player responded "holy" and thats when that adult called the cops. Our player just had to be escorted out of the arena. I think it was completely uncalled for. Most of our team was still on the ice when the Adult grabbed our player, so I dont know much about that, but apparently the way the adult grabbed our player was pretty rough.

As for the last game, We didn't represent our team or Canada very well.

While the tournament may have gone over well, it sounds like the guy grabbing the player didn't represent Roseau very well either. While the kid may have deserved being removed from the game, that is no reason for an adult to go after him after the game is over. Glad that no one was seriously hurt and hope that everyone realizes their mistakes.
