Who comes out on top?
Keep in mind the Crimson are missing two of their senior captains, and are missing another starting defensemen.
Blaine has to be the favorite in this one, but Maple Grove has come up big this year.
My Prediction:
Maple Grove 4
Blaine 3

Blaine-5
MG-3
Blaine is going to get it together in this one. They have more experience playing in big games. I believe Umland is out aswell as Mason?? Correct?

Blaine 5
MG 2
rbk is correct, Blaine does have a little more experience. Baring the fact that Mason and Umland are out, things will be very interesting on Thursday.

Umland and Mason are out, but Umland hasn't been putting up huge numbers. Most of the scoring has been coming out of Maple Grove's Juniors.

Brent Hollerud is a better tender than frakes.

Anyone see Coach Aus's interview on FSN tonight during the second intermission during the Wild game?

Blaine 7 ENG
Maple Grove 4
This game was back and forth all night, and in my mind could have gone either way. If Frakes would have started that game, there is not a doubt in my mind that the Crimson would have come away with a victory. Two very weak goals were scored on Maple Grove's backup.

I didnt think either goalie looked too impressive, Blaine is defensively weak, but man can they score.

Hes a solid goaltender. Dont know if he would make the starting job alot of other places though. Atleast in our conference.
