This is not the best team that Brainerd has ever had. They are a very quick and fast skating team, possibly the fastest team Brainerd has ever had, but not the most skilled. I retract my previous statement about this team being the best, however, I will say that they are still ONE of the best.
In response to btownbombers....
I have no problem with spliiting up the first line IF they are able to make 2 solid lines that can score. The problem I see is how to do it?
Here's what they tried against Fergus the Other day...
Frazer centering Engel and Monda
Tamasy centering Shepherd and Smith
Jenkins centering Rinio and Kaufmann
That didn't last very long. I believe they changed it back in the 2nd period. I wouldn't mind seeing any of these line combinations given a try, they need to find something that clicks.
Frazer centering Engel and Shepherd
Tamasy centering Smith and Monda
3rd Line the same
Frazer centering Shepherd and Monda
Jenkins centering Tamasy and Smith
Engel centering Rinio and Kaufmann
Frazer centering Tamasy and Engel
Jenkins centering Shepherd and Smith
Kaufmann centering Monda and Rinio
I don't know if any of those lines would click at all, but as long as the Warriors have a weak schedule coming up might as well give them a try. I would also try them in the order listed.
