no, that is a very impressive. Kaasa gave alex the most trouble out of any team they have played this year, both times. Tech is dangerous, I think they could pull an upset or two in 8AA. Elk river only beat brainerd 3-2 last night and tech went OT with bemidji. best of luck

Look in the Lightning thread. There is a complete game breakdown. PHM actually took the 1-0 lead I believe. Go take a look.

No hard feelings Cards... Alex is a good team, and I wish them the best of luck in the post season.

Should have followed your instincts, White Bear pulls the big upset 3-1! What a week this has been...

I believe twowayplay maintains the lead with 7 points.

Saturday's Games & Updated QRF's:

Wayzata (11AA) vs. Minnetonka (20AA)

MNHockeyFan has Wayzata 5-3 and Edina 4-1
GOCARDS1 has Wayzata 5-4 and Edina 3-1
gopher 9 has Minnetonka 2-1 and Hill Murray 3-2

Joe, please update your first pick. Minnetonka plays Wayzata, not Hopkins.

Edina 2 Hill Murray 1

Final score 1-0 after 1 HM, 1-1 after 2, Buie scored a shorthander early in third as the winner for Edina.

Minnetonka and Wayzata tie 2-2 - nobody predicted a tie.
Edina edges Hill Murray 2-1, so unless anyone disagrees, twowayplay takes this week's prognostication thread with 8 points. It was a tough week for the favorites, which all in all is great for the game.

Check the "Big Games NEXT Week & Your Predictions" thread and make your picks for the week of January 21st.
