First off, you're posting in the wrong topic. Look for the "Is Mankato West the real deal?" topic. When you find it you will see that just about everyone agrees that West has proven themselves so far.ap4mvp wrote:I guess this proves that Mankato West is not the real deal!
Just because they lose an away game to an excellent team that brought their "A" game to the ice you say they aren't the real deal. With 6 posts under your belt I would say you need to follow more hockey before you start making arm chair calls from your computer.

STA lost to Breck
Are you going to tell everyone that they aren't the real deal this year?
Hey cap'n, where's tennille or she back home making cereal? Why don't you come up north and watch some real hockey!TheCaptain wrote:First off, you're posting in the wrong topic. If you only knew the power of the dark side!
Lets not question anybody on this forum reguardless of how many posts they have. But seriously do you really believe West can stay with teams such as Warroad, St. Cloud Cathedral, Duluth Marshall and STA. You may think so but West doesn't play nearly the quality opponents that many top single A teams play. The state tournament can be a huge wake up call for many programs IF West makes it to the big show will it be two and out? That would be my thinking after losses to Albert Lea. Sorry but the program needs some success before the are considered with top single A teams. A good example would be Hermantown and their rise to the top (it took them a few years to bring the ultimate hardware home)TheCaptain wrote:First off, you're posting in the wrong topic. The DEMON
The rematch is February 7th.
There was probably 1500 people in A.L. when Albert Lea beat West 3-2.
Assuming there are 1000 people at the next game, where are they going to stand? Will ASA actually pull out those purple seats? Has anyone actually been at a game when those things have been pulled out?
Any chance of this game being moved to the Alltel Center?

Not a chance that this will move to the Alltel Center. Mt guess is ASA will pull the seats out. They have done that for East-West Games. They have also allowed people to stand around the glass.LZ94 wrote:The rematch is February 7th.

And what do you mean, "Lets not question anybody on this forum reguardless of how many posts they have"? Isn't that what the purpose of this forum is? To generate discussion? To air different points of view? To challenge popular opinion? Or is that only the case as long as it is not YOU being challenged? Your post are cynical and boring. Please come up with an original, fact based post in order to generate some decent discussion.TheCaptain wrote:First off, you're posting in the wrong topic. Back to the facts: Demon, how many Section 1a teams are in the top 20? I agree with you that this section doesn't exactly have a great history in the state tourney. The Anaheim Ducks didn't exactly have a great playoff history, either. Don't be too smug. This year, section 1a deserves some respect. Go see a game. Your posts ooze of ignorance of this section.
hockeypurist I just can't see a 1A team doing well in the State tournament it seems they always end up on campus instead of in minnesota's arena. You talk about boring your posts are boring you don't even know how to use the (quote) buttons correctly. Sorry but I'll have some respect after a 1A team makes it past the first round and not taking anything away from 1A but I believe Albert Lea is a good team with an excellent program. Roch Lourdes is also a good team I saw them play Cathedral and Little Falls pretty tough, I just don't think the 1A team will be seeded and I doubt they can knock off other potential teams in the tournament. Also i don't think any of the 1A teams are the Anaheim Ducks. Sorry

Re: ap4mvp
9-1 and 5-2....AL's scores against Little Falls in the state tournament the last few years. Perhaps Little Fall's guy should look in the mirror. Being ingnorant is not such a good thing.jackstraw wrote:Wow, lookey here, a Little falls guy on the West/Albert Lea thread saying,"come on up North". How has LF done against these So. teams lately? Or did you not make it down to the state tourney with your Flyers?
