First meeting was 5-4 in OT to the Irish.

Both teams are in the fight for the conference. This is also a big game for the section seeding for these 2 teams. Rosemount is playing really well, I have been impressed with Morgan in the goal as of late. They may have not had their best stuff against AV the other night but where perhaps looking ahead. They have good forwards and McManus on D. Eastview needs games like this one if they want a shot at the Conf. title. If they lose this one it would put a big hurt on them. They will need goals from other lines besides the top 1. They also need to keep their head in the game because sometimes they have a tendency to lose their cool and get some stupid penalties. Eastview has a big game before this one on Tuesday that they can't look past with Eden Prairie. Rosemount has that night off. In the end I'll go with the Irish winning 5-3. Special teams could be the difference in this one.

This would be a fun game to attended, especially since this game will go a long way in determining how the lake standings will look. Like it was earlier said it is a very crucial week for eastview with EP and rosemount and it will be there chance to prove whether or not they are for real in this race to the finish in the lake. Unfortunatly, i think the lightening will be put into their place......

Rosemount 4
Eastview 1

This is a huge game for both teams. It all comes down to how the goaltending is for EV. If they get solid tending, I believe they can take this one. First, they have to get through EP tomorrow.

You all know who I'm taking, and this will be the best game I attend this year, even over the Jefferson game and the EP game. Everyone at RHS hates EVHS and there is some bad blood and I won't be surprised if there is a fight during or even after the game. It will be a good game and I cant wait for it!!

Go Irish!!

I doubt there will be a fight. Even though there is a hatered between these two teams, they know whats at stake if they fight and thats supension. Ev has learned its lesson once, but I guess Rosemount is always cheap and will try and start something.

I think he means between the fans? Not sure why either team would fight on the ice. Some of the players from these 2 schools are friends off the ice, which makes this game that much more fun to watch. It could go either way. So i'll go with a 3-3 tie.

Now that was really unnecessary! This Rosemount team is not cheap, they play hard and work well together, and that is why they are winning hockey games. Now to say they are always cheap is not the correct statement at all..not once has Rosemount started a fight this year.

There is usually a scuffle between the players because of the rivalry, I am/was friends with a lot of the EVHS kids but when it comes to sports, we are enemies

I guess my statement was take a little too far. I meant they have been cheap in the past, and what I meant by cheap is that they are a very gritty team and will try to get under your skin- and sometimes they do stuff that can be considered as cheap. They are a solid team, and very talented.

I completely understand what yours saying STEV16. I would say that they dont look like a fun team to play against, and because of the way they play there isnt a team in the Lake that doesnt hate them.

id agree with u on this one but if the lighting can keep fienhage on the ice while jt is out there i could see corey shutting brown down but if the rosemount 1st line goes against any other defense of EV they will torch the lightning my guess is fienhage takes a couple of dumb penalties the rhs 2nd line puts two in and rosemounts pp prevails in a 5-2 victory (Brown will get 2 goals and maybe an assist)

And this is why Rosemount is hated when they are successful. They split the season series. So neither team really has anything on each other

yah correct but losing mcmanus for those ten minutes didnt help out the team at all and jefferson had a full head of steam and ran away with the game...

losing a key player can change a game, but McManus can't blame anyone but himself for the 10 minutes. He shouldn't of ran his mouth to the ref. Don't bring up the whole incident again please, it's over and done. Let's get back on to topic. eastview vs. rosemount

I have to take the Irish by 2 goals. They seem to have Eastviews number these past couple of years.

This will probably be a great back and forth game. If Eastview can shut down JT, then they will up their chances. But to be honest, they will have to shut down that whole first line for the Irish because Percy and Porter can NOT be forgotten about. I predict some interesting line match ups for this game as well.
