Section 2AA seedings

Post by bubblehockey27 »

I know its a bit early, but what do you guys think about the seedings in this section? I'm thinking something like this...

1. Edina
2. Holy Angels
3. Jefferson
4. Burnsville
5. Chaska
6. Shakopee
7. Prior Lake
8. Kennedy

It's pretty hard to choose between the 2, 3, and 4 seeds. Either way it plays out the Semi-Finals are going to be fun to watch.

1. Edina
2. Burnsville- they'll finish strong
3. Jefferson
4. AHA
5-8. same

sounds better, holy angels is a solid team with a bad start, but not a 2 seed. Burnsville is coming off some key wins highlighting their depth especially with a core 2 lines of forwards. my seedings:

1. Edina
2. Blazzin
3. Jefferson
4. AHA
5. Chaksa

I think it depends on the next few games for teh 2, 3, 4 seeds. I think if Jefferson can beat Moorhead and finish the season strong in the Lake, they could make a push for the #2 seed.

It also depends on how Burnsville will finish in the Lake. B'ville has the harder remaining schedule if you ask me.

AHA could make a push for #2 by beating Minnetonka and SSM (not like it really matters, but it would show what kind of team they are).

Out of those three teams, I would say that Jefferson has the best shot of knocking off Edina. But you never know when tourney time comes.

Well my seedings i think would end up like this......

1) Edina
2) Burnsville
3) Jefferson
4) AHA
5) Chaska

The only question i have is when they seed the teams what do they base it off??? Do they breakdown the teams in general like compare records and quality of wins and strength of schedule or do they just rank according to overall record. I only ask this because i would think that if Holy angels had a relatively same record as Jefferson or Burnsville but they got the higher seed i would see reason for argument for the Blaze or the Jags in that there schedule is more grueling that AHA's

That is exactly how I see it at this point.
