Best Wishes for Alex Larson
Faribault's Alex Larson was seriously injured in this evening's Faribault vs. Winona game. This thread is to give everyone who loves the game the opportunity to take a moment and wish Alex and his family all the best.

From the sounds of it Mr. Larson is a good all around kid that plays the game right. He scores and still isn't afraid to block a shot for his team at the end of a game. All be it bad that it happened this can bring the team closer. Get well soon Mr. Larson and know that all involved in high school hockey have you in their thoughts.

Received this in an email from the Larson family.
Things are looking much better here today. The doctors are comfortable with his progress. His heart had some minor bruising, but there should be no long term damage to his heart or any other internal organs. He is sitting up in a chair now but still very groggy from the medications they are giving him. He will remain in the intensive care unit at least until tomorrow, so visitation is very limited. If he continues to improve, he may even get to come home tomorrow sometime.
Dana and I cannot express our gratitude for all of your prayers, concern and good wishes. Hockey is really creates another family and you are all very special to us.
