The Indians should handle the Raiders on Thurs. night, but you never know. GR has been on an up and down roller coaster for much of the season and need to find some consistency. Greenway should provide an opportunity to get well again. GW will come out pumped and play very hard which will keep Rapids on their toes. Goaltending will decide this one and whoever mans the net for GR will do a fine job.

Rapids wins this one 6-3.

I hope the Indians can pull this off. It is always a fun game to watch, looking forward to some updates since I will not be able to attend. Go Indians.

worried or what

Post by ndirishfighting »

why are you people so worried rapids is not gonna pull this off, is there something goin on in rapids no one knows about. rapids missing someone or what.

my prediction is if both teams come ready 4-3 rapids, if greenway goalie doesn't come ready 8-2 rapids

RAPIDS will win this one either way

No one is worried, but it is a very big rivalry and anything can and does happen in those games.

I think GR wins a tight one 3-2.
They better be ready for a battle though.

If there was ever a game for Grand Rapids to gain the confidence it needs to take the next step, here it is. The boys in orange and black better bring it because you know the kids in green and white will.

For you to wonder why nobody is worried I am surprised to see you only call it a one goal game.... :?:

Indians need to come ready able and willing. With Anoka on its way to town and a recent win over Bji - the Indians get up and go in an old fashioned border battle. Indians by 4 and no call on a score by not knowing which defensive corp will show up.

Critical couple of days for the boyz in Orange...

GO RAPIDS!!!

There is no doubt Greenway has a chance. Did you watch or read about the first game?

Greenway definitely has a chance. To think otherwise would be niave. They are a very good skating team with a couple of very skilled forwards and good team speed. If they get solid (doesn't even have to be great, just solid) goaltending, they can play with anyone - Grand Rapids included. If Grand Rapids shows up with the team they put on the ice in Hibbing, Greenway will win. I don't think that will be the case at home in a rivalry game, though. Both teams have had defensive issues at times this year. I think turnovers and miscues will play a role in this one too. This one will be tight right until the end, I'll pick the T-hawks with a 6-4 win.
