Good game for GR. Not great, but headed back in the right direction. If you were giving grades, you'd probably give them a B-. Roy snapped out of his goal scoring slump, and I'd expect that to continue on Saturday. Great game for Rendle. He played very well. Good old school game as the IRA was packed to the gills. Onward and upward.

I would give a C still very sloppy play but a big boost for saturdays game.Still sloppy passing, power play picked up though

I'll give GR a B- also I liked the line combos esp. the 2nd line of skrbec, moore, and prokop. Skrbec really hustled, power play looked good, and GR through there weight around, we still need work in our own zone clearing those rebounds. Tabaka was a little off, but didn't get tested to much , so he didn't get a chance to get into a grove. NICE W

I LOVE BEATING DOWN THE greenies!!!

I thought Rapids was setting up some nice plays on the power play. Kind of a sloppy game, a lot of penalties, but it was fun to watch. Packed house, too.

I attended the game tonight and thought it was a pretty poor played game on both sides mostly greeway. Although i was impressed by the play of Garret Orhn he was very solid. Especially being a sophmore. Pulling Guyer turned out for the worst. Arnuson was terrible and let in a very sloppy goal by Roy.

Orhn was solid, Strom's got wheels, and why not put in Harbin?
Arnason looked like a deer in headlights, why put him in? He could be the next great goalie from greenway, he's only in 8th grade!

Yeah maybe they should give the kid some playing time but not against rapids. I just meant it turned out for the worst because greenway showed some sign of life and arnuson did not help greenway keep the little momentum they gained.

Boblee are you up for some research

What is the all-time record between Grand Rapids and Greenway?

When did the series start?

What are the scores of all the games?

Can you compile a list here :?:

This is right up your alley :!:

Does the Grand Rapids HS library not keep old HS annual yearbooks?
Don't they report on sports teams - schedules and scores?
It would ahve to wait for summer, but should be a source.
Does Rapids have a local paper? Or use the Duluth News Tribune archives.
Maybe able to get some of this from where you are.
