Crookston cannot win.
Walker will not win.

Park Rapids might win, but then agian TRF might, also.
A quandary of less than biblical proportions, but one that the 'bored' members have been pondering for some time. Thanks to Recruited Sue.

And I cannot accept seccond hand reports; so I will be there on hand up agianst the boards/glass taking it all in.

Good luck to both teams, and again to those in attendance, if you see me, say Hi! If you see me without coffee, please buy.

A few every year and they all lose...with the exception of a few teams in in Class A, they'd have a tough time at the Ted...

Not really that worried about it to be honest. We have some things to work on and some maturing to do before play-offs no matter who we play. Our hope is to atleast give our opponents a run for their money and let the puck bounce as it may.

On a seperate note, Congrats to PR for proving to the haters that you are for real. Hopefully you can continue to prove to yourselves and others that you are here for the long haul and good luck throughout the season.

To be honest, I think PR is a little better than some think and TRF is too inexperienced(I know they beat Moorhead). It's nice to finally get by TRF, though.

PR has been top 4-5 in this Section for 5-6 years...never really a huge threat, but always there...

top 4 or 5? who cares? Since the split there have been only 3 teams that have made it out, TRF only did it once....so, i would say PR would have to be a bit higher than 4 or 5 to matter. But hey, you should get the 2 seed this year, we'll see what happens.

PR needed a win last night for people to take them serious. I still don't think they will make it through the season undefeated. Warroad is far and away the favorite but it certainly should make the section tourney very entertaining this year. Congrats to PR on a solid victory.

Of course Warroad is going to get the #1 seed, what is new. Now that PR has beat a good team, and could possibly get a #2 seed if they win out, do we still look at them as the underdog or the cinderella team to come out section 8A? Either way it would always be fun to see a new team get a chance to skate down at the Excel. I think it would be great for the kids and the program to be able to pull of such a feat.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves... This season is where we are at. When I said "long haul" I meant playoffs and possibly state. We can start talking about next year after the state champions are crowned.

It sure would (will?)be fun to see Lehrke and Ravndalen play each other head to head should PR and Warroad meet. They are almost mirror images of each other and both have capable linemates that understand what they're trying to do. Open ice with either of them around is deadly and would make for great entertainment.

Lehrke is slippery, where Ravndalen is more strength, straight ahead.

Lehrke ie more like to deke you and make you miss. Bryce will put his shoulder down and use his feet, legs, body to muscle around you.
Both can shoot and pass the puck.
Lehrke will backcheck to you and take it out of your pocket.
Ravndalen will catch you and punish you.
