Obviously the Broncos are the front runner. However, i believe Rapids will pull it out its the end of the year and rapids seems to always get hot at this time they will beat I Falls and Hibbing in the second meeting.

If Rapids Lost to Eveleth, that would be upset of the year. especially with how pathetic eveleth is.

If you look at in terms of points lost, which you almost have to with all the four point games and the staggered schedule, The Falls only have a 2 point lead that would turn into a two point defecit if they were to lose to Grand Rapids.

Here is how the standings are with the maximum pts each team can get:
  • International Falls........ 6-0 12pts., 20 max
    Grand Rapids................ 3-1 8pts., 18 max
    Hibbing/Chisholm.......... 2-2 4pts., 16 max
    Virginia/MI-B................. 4-3 8pts., 12 max
    Eveleth-Gilbert/ME........ 0-4 0pts., 12 max
    Greenway/N-K.............. 0-5 0pts., 10 max
As you can see, Greenway is out - their maximum possible total is already less than I Falls current total. Virginia and Eveleth will be out with one more point from I Falls as well. Hibbing is barely alive four points back, but will stay in it if Rapids wins over I Falls and they win out. Grand Rapids will win it outright with wins over I Falls, Hibbing, and Eveleth. I Falls locks it up if they beat Rapids and tie or beat anyone else.

Bottom line is its a three team race now, with two front-runners. This is the IRC and rarely is it settled before the Hibbing/Virginia game that wraps up the conference schedule in February.
