Rosemount has to be up there, just like in football, we will let you know we are there. Home and away games.

A lot of the cities teams that i have seen play on TV have awesome student sections. sadly most of the northern teams don't have very good ones.

except when a school rivalry is going on, say like Falls and Fort F. huge crowd turn-outs for games on both sides of the river.

and for college, i would have to say i like Wisconsin's hockey, and Duke's Basketball.
RBK ruins hockey. PERIOD

I was pretty impressed by the RoMont fans at the Valley/Irish game. Really came out (Even though its just a quick trip up highway 3).

Rapids/East/Moorhead are pretty good as well.

Winona for sure. They pack the stands for every game. there is not an empty seat in the whole place. Loudest fans i have heard in awhile. Best in the Big Nine for sure

I think White Bear has a pretty good student sections. Many of the kids go to all the games wheather they are at aldrich or in duluth.

White Bear has a great student section. They have more kids than the other team in almost every place they go to. They outnumbered Rochester Century in Rochester last week. They are also extremely loud. They sing the school song after every goal. Some very creative chants come out of that section.

There are plenty of open seats whenever I go and watch...

And if you think you are good (might be decent for the Big 9), you need to take a trip up to the metro first.

White Bear student section is one of the biggest student section in the state of Minnesota. We go to every game even if it is in Duluth, or Rochester. If there is a hockey game we are there.

Metro student sections are definitely better than out-state sections. Hockey in general does not draw very well until sections.

As far as college student sections, Madison is the best. I have been there several times, and their fans are the loudest, most creative, and most organized fans in the WCHA. A person spends half the time watching the student section and band.

Yes, I hate to say it too but Wisconsin has the best student section probably in all of college hockey. Quite embarrassing to say that being from MN. The 4 WCHA schools in Minnesota have some improving to do with their student sections.

There isn't a student section nearly boistrous enough to drown out the Farmington mothers. (Those poor Farmington players. How embarassing. )

Any school that sits during the game doesn't have real fans.
