FSN should listen to the viewers
What Team would you like to see FSN carry that hasn't been on TV yet...

I'd say they did fine
It actually looks like they did a good job covering most of the state's top teams. Who has the best team that didn't get on once?
Anoka?
Marshall?
Jefferson?
Grand Rapids?
Duluth East?
Holy Angels?

I enjoy watching whatever they have on and think any coverage is great for the sport and its fans.
For me, most are Tivo'd anyway since I'm usually at a game. But, I skipped my hometown's game to watch Warroad and Roseau and will do the same this week for Skippers-Hornets.
If they scheduled more flexibly, they could better ensure marquee match-ups. I like what myfoxhockey.com is doing.

No kidding, also 3 of the 4 state finals teams including undefeated Hermantown don't get on, throw Duluth East & Hibbing in also, section finalists a few in a row now. 5 or 6 southern teams are on twice. They have to know how they pack'em in up North, unlike all the empty seats you see watching most of the southern games. Maybe the cakeaters pool up a few bucks to get on. And who other than relatives will even watch Eveleth & LOW? Both were at one time Hockey powers, but not anymore. Maybe they should be FSS and not FSN.theref wrote:Agreed, or any Falls game for that matter. If they can make it to Roseau, they can make it to the Falls.RoundBaller wrote:Falls vs Roseau

I think you are unreasonable in your expectation
East:
I think people will watch Eveleth-BLOW just because it is outdoors. They may show Roseau-Blaine from there too. Certainly you aren't suggesting they cover a different game at 10:00 am that morning. Are you?
So basically what you are saying is they don't have enough games from your part of the state to please you. I'm pretty impressed they go way north three times this year. Is it realistic to expect more?
Teams on twice:
Edina
Stillwater
St. Thomas (possibly)
Roseau (possibly)
Hill-Murray (possibly)
Blaine (possibly)
Face it, with the exception of Stillwater these are among the state's top teams - and Stillwater's opponents are Holy Angels and White Bear. Two pretty good programs.
Gotta disagree with you. I'd say they did pretty well. Next year the Iron Range channel can produce the games and find an outlet. I don't think any of this happens easily.

yup, it was pretty physical last game. Hopefully they can continue to be physical as it has been hit or miss with the officials on whether physical play has been allowed...schwang17 wrote:St. Valentine's Day Massacre on Leech Lake?...newsguy35 wrote:Bagley @ Walker Thursday February 14th... He is talking about the 06-07 state champions, they were undefeated. I agree they should throw more hermantown, falls, grand rapids, and roseau on their schdule, these temas usually play some pretty good hockey.
