At most high schools, you really only need 4-5 good kids per class (freshman to senior) to be competitive. You don't need 17 8th and 9th graders to play bantam A. But you need to try to get your A players playing at the A level.

One solution might be to combine with another small association at the bantam level to field a more competitive A team like SSP/IGH or SLP/Minneapolis. Many U14 girls teams are combined.
