No way, should be home to tuck the little ones in. This ones easy.
1. GR
2. Duluth
3. Proct/Herm
4. Cloquet
5. FL
6. Cambridge
7. St. Francis
8. Chisago

One and two are set, it always comes down to 3 and 4, and you could maybe make an argument there. The season starts with the xmas tourneys (or at least it should). It's what you have done down the home stretch?

Seeding assignments as of 1/30 afternoon.

Brackets with fewer than eight teams award first round byes; more than eight teams have a play-in game.

Section 4AA:
1 Roseville
2 Stillwater
3 Hill Murray
4 White Bear Lake
5 Cretin Derham Hall
6 North St Paul
7 Minneapolis Novas (?)
8 St Paul Blades (?)
9 Tartan

NOTE: St Paul Blades are listed twice in 4AA at MSHSL site; I assume the #7 seed is Minneapolis Novas

Section 2A:
1 New Prague
2 Mankato West
3 Hutchinson
4 Willmar
5 St Peter
6 Litchfield
7 Mankato East

Section 3A:
1 Marshall
2 New Ulm
3 Luverne
4 Fairmont
5 Windom
6 Worthington
7 Redwood Valley

Section 4A:
1 South St Paul
2 Henry Sibley
3 Visitation/St Paul Academy
4 Simley
5 Mahtomedi
6 Totino Grace
7 St Paul Saints
8 Minnehaha Academy

Maybe Section 4AA should have took more time and got it right. HM over WBL. Let's see play in a class A Conference beat no one of any consequence and get a high seed. Not bad. I suppose the only one happy is North St. Paul. Third times the charm.

I've always been surprised that sections will seed teams before the schedule is complete. I know most of the games left are non-section but many could still factor into the common opponents situation.

I think this one is tougher than you think. 3-5 can go anyway. Heck, GRG actually played 3 section games they didn't win. I believe that is the same as Duluth and PHM.

I'd do this...

1. GRG
2. Duluth
3. Cloquet
4. PHM
5. F Lake
The Rest.

I could see GRG falling out of 1. I could see PHM sliding up. I could see F Lake sliding up. A lot of things can happen. Also, coaches may try to make some things happen. For example, if I were a GRG coach I wouldn't be too upset at 2 if CEC is 3 or at 1 if CEC is four. It'd be nice to get the final host at a neutral site. Also, from a PHM perspective, they might want to see GRG again early, they may try to sit at 4 if GRG is one. I don't know if any of this is true or will happen, but these are the types of things that go through the coaches minds. With that being said, I hope to hear from Coach Rendle within the 8:00 o'clock hour.
