International Falls Broncos in 1965.

Wait in 1966.

Oh, both years, I guess.

No they didn't. They had one loss that year, I believe it was to Edina.

They certainly did lose to Edina - in December of that season.

A perfect season is undefeated and untied, so there are very few perfect seasons in the books.

A tie in a undefeated season is kinda like a no-hitter with a walk and an error, but not a perfect game. A great acomplishment but not perfect.

The good question is has Roseau peaked too early? Undefeated all season is extremely tough. I guess we'll see...

He asked what teams, if any, had gone undefeated, not been perfect.

I don't think there is any indication that Roseau has peaked too early.

From the Minnesota Boy's hockey site:

Undefeated teams all the way through the championship;

1959 Roseau

1963 St. Paul Johnson

1965 International Falls

1966 International Falls (Wow, 2 years in a row)

1974 Edina East

1983 Hill Murray

1993 Bloomington Jefferson

1997 Red Wing

Also, there are several instances of Undefeated, untied teams that got all the way to the championship game, then lost.

It's all in how you read it, I read perfect, you read undefeated. So we are both right.

What about the 2005 Warroad Warriors? TJ Oshie and Aaron Marvin ring any bells?
