Was the Alex vs. Fergus game in Fergus, cause if it was the refs in that place are always bad to the visiting team, I can say this from playing there numerous times in my career.

Yet there are many who still blame the officiating. Which is funny. Have you ever gone to a hockey game and not heard at least some complaints coming from each side? Alex probably got away with some in this game, too.

It's always either the lack of calls or too many calls. I've never heard someone come on here and say "Wow, that game was really well officiated."

No the game was in alex, with alex refs which was shocking. And to add on to what bruce was saying. When the game went into overtime the refs thaught there was only 5 min ot. both benches and all the fans were saying it was 8 whcih it is. But they said no and started the game and then after 40sec they blow the whistle and one ref goes to check the rule book and they come back and put up 7:20. It was poorly officiated. some of the fergus parents were tippin back a few before the game and the cops had to hold them back from attackin some alex guys. intense game.

Couldn't tell ya. But the refs at Orono were fine.

I think Govs was the one to say awhile back that reffing never decides the outcome of a game. When you look back at a game a couple days later with a clearer head you'll realize that there is a bunch of things that the losing team could have done or shouldn't have done that would have helped them out.

Well last nights Edina Vs. Minnetonka game I thought was well officiated. And a pretty good game till the end.

That is true that nobody will ever say a game is "well officiated". but this one was out of control. One kid got checked from behind got injured and he still got the penalty, goalie got ripped down by the neck after a whistle and one of the D pushed the fergus guy back and the alex guy got a penalty. Alex kid got elbowed so bad the mask of his helmet cut his chin. I think these two teams will get the 2 and 3 seeds so sections could be a wild one. Will be interesting come sections i cant wait

From what I can remember when Little Falls faced Fergus is that they are CHEAP.

you are correct gopherpuckplayer Fergus is a very cheap team, i agree officials aren't the whole game, but with how terrible it was last night they definatly gave favor to the ugly brown shirted team.....

well if i might add... pretty sure u guys didnt watch the 1st 2 periods then did u... the refs were favoring alex the 1st and 2nd period... and then it finally evened out in the 3rd.. umm the 2nd goal by fergus was not a rebound goal. it was a pass from the corner which fergus' player tapped it in

I actually used to play back when I was in high school. Circled around at the X once, too. Hell, I even said hi to my grandma and grandpa on TV.

So, I used to play hockey. I'm content just watching these days.

As for me needing to get a life, I suppose you're right.

They are only good if they are true...and this guys having problems finding some truth. Also, loses points for predictability. I 100% saw that one coming.
