Can anyone tell me what the shots were? Was this an even game? Just looking for a first hand opinion/recap.

I was at the game and it was back and forth, it was a fast paced game. The score was 2-0 at one point and SSP tied the game around the 2:30 mark remaining in the third. I know in overtime the shots were 7-1 Hill Murray. I believe the shots were even during regulation.

The kid never reported the score, I was just relaying the score to everyone.
And you sir are very kind to have enlightened us all. That Sparlimb kid sure doesn't add much around here. You, on the other hand, should be commended for all the value you add. I can really tell that you are intelligent and just trying to make the forum a better place. You must be a SSP student? Thanks again. I really enjoy reading your posts. \:D/

not trying to take anything away from hill, but it has been proven that they are vulnerable losing to tartan and tying ssp. as of right now i would not put them in the elite status with roseau, edina, or minnetonka.

The door opens for sections
Was it the same excuse for the loss against Tartan?
Remind me, I had the same bug and can't remember

Didn't think I would miss out on this one did you...........
Firstly, it was a very good game, I was working at the rink, so I saw the whole thing. Shots were 35-23 Hill I believe. So maybe Lech should have practiced with two goalies in the net, because Rothe played like it. I have large doubts that the game would have been this good had the Pioneers stayed out of the box in the final period, I don't think there was much time they didn't have a penalty. =D> Great game for South St. Paul, not so much for Hill Murray. First a loss to Tartan, now a tie to South St. Paul, it must be an off season.

The door is always open during sections, but it always seems that Hill closes a lot doors and ends team's seasons.

Did you say "remind me". Ok, 6-0 & running time & Hill never lost to SSP this season...any questions?

You know that you're amazing when your clear#2 goalie holds Hill to 2 goals on 35 shots. I think we might be witnessing the best goalie tandem in the history of high school hockey.

We were glad to get out of there with a tie, had Williamson played nets, there was no way we score & thus no way we manage a tie.

Well for the record, there is no back-up, they trade off games. He hasn't been a back up since freshman year.

They don't have a starter and a back up, but he's still "# 2"

Hill skated fine, SSP just played really physical, and made them work to get the puck out of the zone. I'd say the SSP defenseman looked better then HM's. Hill took 2-3 stupid retaliation penalties and got too pretty on some odd man rushes. The SSP goalie saw every shot he faced.
