The soph also played against buffalo(nice Job), but besides that look at the teams that the other goalies have played the weaker of the conference the only reason why the jr has good stats is because he has a shut out against BBL and Princeton? Werent you just saying how Princeton wasn't that great? Look at the strength of the teams? :-k
Um the Tonka game?? thought you'd get that, he came in and gave up 4 :? He did play Buffalo to a tie at home and that's great!
Should have added a  .
Either way, I think the Soph has the most potential...but your missing the point here, IMO NONE OF THEM ARE WORTHY OF ALL CONFERENCE THIS YEAR!!

Good goalies will help win big games, Rogers has not done that, each have given up a lot of soft goals..some more then others.
Whom ever you think is being referred to as AC?? it's not coming from me and won't.

I'm not giving the Sr. any special consideration in this discussion, 4 goals on 9 shots last night in one period  c'mon.

Zitur from Buffalo is the all conference goalie. The only other one is maybe Turnquist from STMA (Sophomore) because he has the save percentage of all of them and GAA but he has won games for STMAoutright . He played bad in Rogers and was pulled but has played well otherwise and had 32 saves for the win against Apollo the other night.

CNT...isnt 4 conference shut outs worthy of AC? I dont think Buffalo had 4 conference shut outs...were talking about conference games and not if the goalie is any good or not...Buffalo had a goalie a couple years ago that made it...and i would take any of the 3 Rogers goalies over him.

Zitur gave up 3 goals in 9 shots against Princeton...got pulled...I think he is an all conference goalie...quit blaming your goalie...35 shots and 0 goals hurt just as bad.

This is amazing; HOF and CNT have gone from arguing who is better to arguing about whom to complement from the others team??? Will they ever get along?

Are they required to have a goalie on the team? Or is it just best players regardless of position?

I would think they would have a goalie or two, but I doubt it's required.
I think it just makes sense there would be a top goalie or 2 in any conf.

HOF loves all goalies....CNT appreciates great goalies.
Honestly,
I think Zitur is the M8 AC goalie period, and if there is another I really don't have any suggestions as to who.
He'll start working me for other all conf. picks soon as well. :D

Well it is the M8...I would suggest not having any expectations....BTW...CNT...Didn't hear any comments on the Bison knocking off Armstrong??? What's the matter, haven't heard any vailed compliments about the Bison lately???

Also, you really should give your picks for AC this season? I know readers on this bored want to know and have waited long enough for you to unvail the team. Give people what they want CNT...your opinion!

I thought I did compliment you on that win?? but I must have thought you would have taken it as a smart axe comment and removed it

However... do well in these next four games and I will be sure to inflate your ego

Seriously people don't care who we posters pick.

I'd rather comment on how it shakes out :D

What a copout...no one listens to Neut0fer14...Looks like you won't go the extra mile and put up your picks. I will say this about the M8:

There are some players in the league that would play for just about any team out there and I think Rogers 1st defensive pairing is tough to beat by just about anyone. League lacks depth in general and I agree with CNT that One time through this league would be enough and should be considered.

Sorry to disappoint you.....again

I've been trying to say this, but your not catching it, your giving to much credit to one 1/2 of that D pair.
Anyone that has watched all their games knows, "a name does not a player make"
The old financial saying here "past performance in not conducive to future results" comes heavily into play.
I'll let you go back and read to figure that out.

Other then that I agree there are some very good players throughout the conference, but it takes more then a couple on each squad to win against the better programs.

Also I do thing a single tour thru the Mighty 8 would be enough for these 2 schools.

I am a little late in responding to all the jabbing back and forth about whether or not Rogers has an ac goalie. I did place an earlier post that explains why Rogers does not give up a lot of goals it is d. People like to praise the 1st set of d for Rog and that is fine but their 2nd pair is pretty good too. The 2nd pair does not have all the flashy moves but they bring a very physical style of D that the 1st pair does not. David Audette seems to go about his business pretty quietly and does a great job in my opinion he could very easily be a part of that 1st pair. There is no goalie on the Rog team that deserves AC.
I have watched a lot of Rogers games and they seem to come and play hard against all conference teams that iswhy they do not give up a lot of goals. Buffalo seems to only want to play against Rog. that is probably why they find themselves in close games in the conference. Buffalo needs to get over themselves and play every conference game like they are playing Rog if they don't why would other teams in the conference be willing to only play Buff once ie. overtime Princeton.

Zitur is AC

Someone has to get the second goalie spot....as for Buffalo playing hard...I think it's "everyone brings their best game against Buffalo...including Rogers' but the Bison are a very manic team and do not play well or hard all the time. Has to do with style of play as well.
