bernie - you'll have to teach him how to skate first
You
should see him skate we have been working with the new blades that
are heated and he can really do some amazing things on the ice that
I bet you could only dream of ? You should buy a pair it might even
help you at your age to be able to still play the game? As I see you
are getting a little RUSTY.

Bernie- The funny thing about tomASS. He was part of a elite soccer program. He can't figure out why parents sign their kids up for Minnesota made. But he chose to sign his kids up for an elite soccer prgram. When he could've joined the city program. The elite program had two selections to choose from. Rec and Advance. tomASS had a choice. And he chose elite status. I personally think that great. But who is he to even worry about my kid skating at Minnesota made? He kind of makes things personal
Not to mention. Everyone I speak with in our association says this guy is a clown. Typical over the top parent. And of course. tomASS knows it all.
These are comments from people within this elite soccer program. From people that are associated with running the program. Plus the hockey parents ditto the comments. tomASS used to be on the soccer board of this elite program.
Keep in mind tomASS has mentioned he's all about supporting local associations and communities. So one year they rented an RV and took a bunch of squirts up to Canada for a hockey camp. Makes perfect sense to me. I'm thinking he was supporting the local gas stations and grocery stores to buy gas and food for the trip.
Once again. I'm very happy for him. Sounds like good opportunites and a fun time. But who is this guy to even worry about other kids? And what they sign up for? tomASS getting the drift?
This is the kicker. His kid plays JV hockey. And he still learks in the youth hockey site. Kind of weirds me out. This is the type of guy that has kids that moved on and still wants to volunteer for youth tryouts and to work tourneys. After all, he has poured so much blood, sweat and tears into our association. In his mind he's a living legend. I for one appreciate the help. Anyone who volunteers his time and efforts should be rewarded. But on the flip side. This guy is a pain in my chanASS. Kids are older. Time to move on.
I know he has his pride. I for one am very proud this guy volunteered his time and efforts. But don't belittle others for trying other programs.

Bernie, ask tomASS about "down goes Frazier" comment. This comment almost cost tomASS his pride and a broken nose. Plus it made our association look bad.

Things really don't add up when tomASS opens his trap. What's good for him and his family might not be so good for others. And he will let you know. I asked if tomASS was part of the good old boys club in our association. I found out they don't even care for him. He's kind of lost in the twilight zone. He's a middle man, board member, wanna be.

tomASS- In conclusion! Thanks for all your time and efforts in volunteering. Now its time to move on and watch the JV games and ponder the thoughts of how you've poured blood, sweat and tears into a solid winning program.

Since he's devoted so much time, blood, sweat and tears to his association. I heard that they plan on calling the bathroom at his rink:

tomASS biffy =D>

PEACE!

tomASS no need to reply. Unless you want to go for the record of locked post. I think you're one away from the all time high.

You continue to amuse me and would be a great case study for a show on how the mind has faulty logic connections

Nice come back!

Have a great weekend! I think there's some mini-mite and mite games you can catch. Try to stay out of the locker rooms. You're starting to weird people out.

Good luck to the JV team. Maybe I'll see you there.

Maybe the boys can pull an upset.

Hey Boogie you will be the one to get this one locked because of what you're attempting to infer regarding mites, locker rooms, and youth hockey the last two posts.

I didn't realize that you were so sensitive about not being able to skate.

tomASS- You're not a part of youth hockey anymore. Time to move on. Run for Mayor or something useful.

I've been skating for all my life. Not sure why you don't think I cannot skate?

True character! When you do stuff like this. You take away all your credibility. Not that you have much anyways.

I think its time to ignore me. Remember all the blood, sweat and tears you've devoted to your association? Acting like this take it all away. Not to mention you are single handidly making your association look bad. Have some pride. For once be the bigger person. I'm sick of all the amusing lobby stories about you at the rink. I don't want to hear what you've done here and there anymore.

Anything else but AAA Hockey

Post by oldtime_hockey_Dad »

So I'm looking for some direction. My son wants to play hockey. He tried out for AAA showcase and wasn't picked up. What a joke the tryouts were. The 95 kids skated in the tryouts with 94 kids. There were kids 2 heads taller than most of the kids on the ice. Then there were on 2 to 3 evaluators. In my opinion not a very well organize evaluation or much effort put forward. I heard from other Dad's that it was a joke before my son tried out but he wanted to do it anyway. That aside, I'm wondering what options are there for kids that want to skate(and not the MASH or Showcase games only leagues) My son wants to be on a team to develop and get better(and I didn't even say anything to him he came to me).
Any ideas would be helpful.

im not sure why that these threads seem to turn into TomAss versus Boogyman each time. i wish they would have left the other site open for you two to go blow to blow instead of on every thread. Boogy, i know you don't like Tomass or his posts, but he should be able to post on youth hockey if he would like. If you need a kid who is in youth hockey to comment on this board, many of us would be gone. I think we can bring valuable experience to the board. you told watchdog that you have a kid in mites. If you want to live by your own rules, then you shouldn't be commenting on levels higher then mites. you've commented on all levels, from squirts, peewees, high school, even college! one last thing, are you ever going to accept the offer from tomass? it would make for good reading. Keep on posting!

Iron range- Point well taken. Like I said in a previous post. I really don't mind anyone having a viewpoint. One person seems to be a pain in my ChanASS and he's taking cheap shots at me along the way. I guess I'm pushing back.
Having a lot of knowledge about hockey is great. When people start telling others what's best for their kids. Its WRONG! Sharing experiences is great. Not at the expense of others. Then you have people ripping on Minnesota made? If you have a valid reason. Fine! Most just rip Minnesota made with no examples.
I think you know what I'm saying.

Have a good weekend.

Good luck!

tomass I would say BoogeyMan is getting the best of you as you have not
answered back with any proof to discredit what he said. Is that you on the wall getting ready to jump from BoogeyMan putting on the pressure. Let
everyone know about Down goes Frasier. I already know all about it but
some others might find it quite amusing.. :-k

Bernie007- You will find that tomASS cannot respond. I speak the truth. You can bet he'll try to discredit me somehow. He works in mysterious ways. He's probably looking for some cartoons to post. I think people know him well enought to know what he's about. I'm glad to see others dare to disagree. [-( The good old boys club is a powerful organization. :-& :^o

I agree - Boogey and Bernie are the same person...or, Bernie is Boogey's invisible friend that he plays with in the warming house during mite practices.
