Yes, they have those wins, but they also have losses to Owatonna and Lourdes. Aside from the listed games, a weak schedule. On paper West is better than Albert Lea, despite the head to head loss, just as St Thomas is better than Marshall. The Wild's win over Detroit a month ago didn't make them the #1 team then; "one game doesn't make a season."

how does west look better on paper? have they beat a ranked team?
how is section a weak final darkdemon? 5 teams ranked in the top 15 come on give me another section where 5 teams are ranked in top 15 in single A. this section probably has the most depth.
Amen to that section 1A is deep.
heres my ranking as of Friday 2-8-08.
1. St. Thomas Academy
2. Duluth Marshall
3. Mankato West
4. Int. Falls
5. Warroad
6. Rochester Lourdes
7. St. Cloud Cathederal
8. Albert Lea
9. South St. Paul
10. Red Wing
I have to agree with your statement that St. Thomas is better than Marshall. But I can tell you that St. Thomas is not better than Duluth Marshall. No legit excuses can be made for being put into running time.HShockeywatcher wrote:You forgot to quote me when I said "one game doesn't make a season."
