Hopkins 8, Rogers/Zimmerman 2; no suprise

Section 5AA:
#7 Coon Rapids 4, #2 Blaine 3

Centennial 4 Spring Lake Park 0

10th shut out of the year for Carpenter, a lot of upsets in 5AA but upper bracket has #1 CENTENNIAL VS #4 ANDOVER lower bracket has #6 Mounds View vs #7 Coon Rapids. Blaine and Irondale are both losers in the first round WOW!!! Both teams loaded with goal scorers. Young teams maybe next year.

Ashley Stenerson with a lovely game. Three goals and two assists including two goals in six seconds. Both of which were just gorgeous goals. Anna Lipetzky had a gorgeous tip in on a Stenerson shot also.

Eden Prairie 2 Mtka 1

Tonka had a 1-0 lead going into the 3rd Period and then EP took control. Final 1:45 EP had a penalty and Tonka pulled goalie for a 6 on 4 with several scoring chances right up to the buzzer

Tonka will be a force to recon with for years to come
