Hockey Day Minnesota!!! Mark it on the calendar forever!!!!!

Post by bigwheelXXX »

Best thing to promote the game. Congrats to the people who put in the time and starting this amazing event.

Look how cold the refs are. Its awesome. Minnesota is #1.

Eat your heart out Wis. Mich. Mass. and who ever else thinks they could do something for he game like this.

Sweet facemasks too. Look how bundled up Gorgy is. face all red. Its really "OLDTIME HOCKEY". Welcome to Northern Minnesota! Gotta Love it!

I won't have to leave the couch. Thanks FSN.

It is awesome. Next year though I'd like to see a change in location for the games. Maybe have hockey day Minnesota the 3rd Saturday in February and have the 7AA Semi-finals at the DECC on FSN. Then the Gophers game and Wild game. I think it would be that much more special having it during the section tournaments.

One thing I would change is have the Gophers play SCSU, UMD, or MSU-Mankato.
If you only knew the power of the dark side!

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing this 10:00 game be a Bantam game... get another level that not everybody sees into the mix.

Everybody catch that interview from that goofball who's part of the organizers of Hockey Day? He made it sound like they won't be back in Baudette next year. Anybody from that area know any more info about this?

If it's true, that's too bad. They sure look like they've done a good job the last couple of years.

Yea that would be great to put some Bantams out there. Think how cool that would be for the those kids as well....being on TV and all.

4 years ago the 7AA semi-finals were at the DECC and the Gophers were there that weekend. That would be nice to get that again for Hockey Day.

Great Day, really showed the pride and tradition of Minnesota hockey. I myself think nothing shows Minnesota hockey better then High School hockey and FSN represented that great. Cant wait for the Hockey Days in the future to come.
