STA -2 DM -8 - (At STA)
HM -1 Tartan -2 (tonka beat HM by 3 or 4?)
Lets stick with Edina as the solid team to play Shatuck as AFP suggested. Their loss was by only one to another very good team (BSM). Edina would stick with them. There is another G&W team that would be fun to watch play shattuck this year.
Well said. I would run with this one.rapidsrapids wrote:If it's Saturday regular season.

My only request would be to find a way that I could attend all 4 games. That would be something.

Everybody's missing the obvious, and this needs to get done...
Johnson vs. Como Park on Lake Phalen, during the St. Paul Winter Carnival. That, or put them on Como Lake or put some bleachers up at the Landmark Center rink in St. Paul. Right in the middle of downtown - a hockey game right in between a bunch of buildings, next to a park full of ice sculptures - it's great tv.
Now that the Phalen Rec Center has the refrigerated outdoor ice, bring back the Winter Carnival Mite tournament and put it there - show a bunch of highlights from that or the title game in the morning. Again - viewers would eat that up. People love watching the little kids play.
I'm willing to extend this out to 2010 so that Roseau can have their fun with the outdoor game in '09, because I see '10 as the year for the Twin Cities. After the mite game and the Johnson/Como game, FSN is going to air Minnesota vs. Wisconsin from TCF Bank Stadium, followed by the Wild vs. the Penguins from the X.
I'm a programming genius - I don't care how much any of you argue with me.

The only problem with putting both the mites & the Govs/Como game on, the announcers would continually have to remind viewers which ones we were watching.Govs93 wrote:Everybody's missing the obvious, and this needs to get done...

Well, as PPG was so kind to point out, the thought behind the mite game beforehand is so that the Johnson/Como game will appear to be almost legitimate.espnmobile8 wrote:I just want to know how the hell you expect people to watch a Pee Wee game.
