Yes, we all know he's talented, yes, he has a future in hockey. Enough already. Bring this up in 10 years so we know how it all turned out. He's not the greatest yet, just another kid with potential.

GR - how many times have you seen this kid play?

If you don't like reading the articles, why would you read it? Or were you forced to? Articles are written about players that are great, make great plays, do things on and off the ice, etc - I'm sure they'll stop writing them so you don't get offended.

Great kid, Great player - and GREAT goal even if you don't realize it.

Are you still mad Ness made GR look bad last year? Or does GR stand for Go Roseau?

I was at this game at St. Cloud. Saw him before he made this play. He was not feeling well and was struggling on the ice. That's probably why he made the stupid decision to not pass but score a goal instead.

I have read thru the posts and watched the clip. All I saw was a player with extreme confidance and took what was given to him on the ice. Great Play! I do love how he turned the D inside out. Awsome

Never once has anyone said he's not a great player. I, as a northern minnesota hockey fan, a gopher fan, and a minnesotan, will always be pulling for him. The press this kid is getting has now become nauseating though. Overkill is the word I believe. Never said I was offended, but I still don't think that particular goal was worthy of a thread, it wasn't spectacular. When I saw the thread, I thought it was going to be something truly amazing. What I saw was a stronger player beating a weaker player with speed and shoveling the puck past a surprised goaltender. I'm a GR fan obviously, but if and when we go down this season, I'll be pulling for Roseau, so don't go on about how I'm jealous or don't recognize talent. I wish Ness all the best, and hope he goes all the way, but let him get there first before we treat him like anything other than a great prospect. Perhaps one of the best Minnesota prospects in a long, long while.

I blame Lee. Putting those visions of Maui in my head... then I step outside.
