Bears vs Royals 12/14
I think this will be a huge game for both teams, could shake up some section seedings either way it goes. hopefully a win for the bears, i expect a good game and a great student section for the bears being fan appreciation night.
We always have a great student section. Hopefully Hoodbury's section makes the trip out to Aldrich. I expect a great game which will probably be pretty physical. As long as the Bears can keep their cool, they'll walk away with this one. The Bears are the only team in the SEC that Woodbury hasn't beaten and it should stay that way.
Aaahh, douche.
Never underestimate the ability to make the last line change. #2 or #3 can make a big difference. They both better show up to play.MGoBlue wrote:I'm not sure this game matters too much. yeah i agree. i mean, it can make a huge difference on which teams white bear will play. i mean, either it could be just like last year where wb plays stillwater then roseville then hill, or maybe even move them to a different spot. who knows. i think it will be a great game with white bear coming out on top by a goal. maybe 2-1 or 3-2Govs93 wrote:Never underestimate the ability to make the last line change. #2 or #3 can make a big difference. obviously im a bear fan, and your a woodbury fan.MGoBlue wrote:Royals by 2 (assuming the Bears take a few bad penalties)
but lets be realistic here. i would expect a BETTER game if it was @ woodbury, but being at home, last game of the season, a ton of fans, alot riding on section seedings for the bears, i just dont think its possible. i think woodbury hasnt gotten the bears down yet, and there isnt enough time now to start.
Winning isn't everything, its the only thing

My pregame prediction is that if the Royals don't win it is because they got hosed by the officiating. Expect the usual whining form the north side of Aldrich either way.
This game should be very close and very physical. Hopefully it doesn't get chippy like the last game.
No easy path to state for Woodbury this year (and CDH the year before) with Rosemount, Eastview, and Eagan in 3AA.
Dane Erickson is back and he didn't play the last time these two teams met. He give the Royals two legit scoring lines and may be the difference in this one. If the Bears play disciplined and stay out of the box they win in a close one. With the Bears track record for taking stupid penalties, it probably won't happen.

This will be an extremely close game. White Bear really didn't dominate the last game and turned it into a feeding frenzy at the end. They have a tradition and that generally gets them some recognition even if they don't deserve it.
I'm taking Woodbury by a goal. With Erickson and Kopp back in the line up, it'll be a different game than the last one. Hopefully, there'll be refs that aren't afraid to use their whistles and make sure that the game stays in line otherwise it could turn into a blood bath.
Rosemount lost to EP and I predict that they'll lose to B'ville as well. They're not really anything special so far as I can tell. Woodbury only lost to them by one in their last meeting, so they are totally beatable.

The Bears have been pretty solid with penalties. In the past few games there really hasn't been any stupid penalties taken by the Bears. I agree though, that the zebras really need to keep the game in line. That goes for both sides though, I mean, there was a ton of post-whistle bs on Woodbury's behalf in their last meeting.SEC Scotty wrote:My pregame prediction is that if the Royals don't win it is because they got hosed by the officiating. It will be important that the refs keep the game from getting chippy, but no one should expect a fight seeing as how it is right before sections and they would be risking a suspension.CFM™ wrote:The Bears have been pretty solid with penalties. There is still some question as to whether Kopp will be able to play. He undressed ofter first period of Roseville game, and that shoulder still bothers him.slapstkhound wrote:This will be an extremely close game.
