Delano @ Mound 7:00pm

Post by Reidy09 »

Mound looked real sharp against Orono Tuesday night. With Riley Horgan back in the lineup, they look like they could make another good run.

Any predictions?

Mound 5-2

Mound wins 4-0.

SOG:

Mound: 47
Delano: 25

FYI: Delano has some really dirty classless players.

How is Mound on the whole? I know Horgan is a good player, but do they have the depth?

I've seen them a couple of times. Two pretty solid lines and good goaltending. They should challenge in their section.

Is one of there players hurt? If so, is he out for the season? Is he one of there best players? I thought I remembered hearing something about a top player going down for the season.

Played against them a few years ago and they were down, but seems to me like they have a good team this year. Hows they're JV?

That was Riley Horgan. He suffered an injury in their Hermantown game awhile back. Nobody expected him to come back until sections, if that..but he apparently is a fast healer and started against Orono Tuesday night. He had 1 goal and 2 assists in their 7-2 win over Orono.

Tonight he had 1 assist in a 4-0 stomping of Delano.

Mound is back to our winning ways.

Meh. I don't watch much of their JV. By the sounds of it they aren't great, but their decent. Nothing special to be honest.

And Mound doesnt? I'm pretty sure I got ran over a couple times intentionally, then #17 kept mouthing off to me... that sounds pretty classy dont it? But anyways, it was a nice win for Mound, they definately deserved it. Btw... I would like to thank whoever landed on me, my back was and still is screwed up...

Okay. I was wondering why they were starting to pick it up after a pretty terrible stretch.

So you're saying whoever where's your #10 jersey didn't intentionally elbow Tyler Anderson(#18 ) in the face 10 seconds after the horn went?

Not to mention whatever idiot on your team was tackling Riley Horgan and punching him when play was already out of the zone towards the end of the 3rd, probably out of frustration that Riley is a million times better than him.

Then, when Ryan Hurd, the kid you got "ran over" by completely destroys some little junior your bench goes insane because you felt it should have been a roughing penalty. - Don't lie, you guys were taking runs at our players all game.

Hence why Mound was on the PP the whole game.

Is Hurd #17? Haha the "idiot" that "tackled" and "punched" him is a J.V. player... he suited up because we're short on D. I'm not gonna argue about Horgan being good, cuz I know he's amazing. I'm sure we took "runs" at you guys, although every team does it in every game... so I don't see why your complaining about it. :-k

May I ask who you are? Riley Hanson? Are you Ryan Hurd himself? Who are you?

Wouldn't doubt it. Like I just said, the kid is amazing. I remember that game, he would just sit in front of the net waiting for rebounds then capitalized on all of them.

Not from my neck of the woods...Apollo and Cathedral kids are asked by their coaches to stay off this thing...but I'd believe that a lot of Delano, Orono, and Mound kids are on here talking about how good they are...

I know that the Cathedral kids are asked to stay off. Pretty sure that Mound players are told to stay off of here as well.

Of course, I'm sure there are many players on here that actually make an attempt to keep their identities hidden or there could be a little bag skate in their futures. Guess that's not the case in Delano.

Yo, for the last time - I DO NOT PLAY FOR MOUND.

I'm not saying that to cover up who I really am, I'm dead serious. Can't you just accept the truth?
