Edina @ Minnetonka... Round 2

Post by Jacketfan06 »

what do you think? can minnetonka win at home and split the season series or will the hornets win again and sweep the series? i watched this game on fsn and it was one of the better games that i've seen in a long time. i think this is going to be another great game. i know its still a week and a half away but im excited to see round two!

I'm going to say Minnetonka by 1 for the split, but a must watch game for sure.

Minnetonka is 7-3 away, 3-0 on neutral ice, and 8-0 at home. They should win this one at home.

how can you say that after the first game, think about things before you post

easily going to be a 1 goal game either 3-2 or 4-3 all depends on how tonka plays in third period and if they go out scared again

i think that this should be a very close one, indeed. I also think that Gardiner will come out with a chip on his shoulder after what most say, a dissapointing game last match, and will control the game more. im goin with 4-3 Tonka

The Gallop, CNN and Rasmussen polls are all reporting that it is:

Too close to call.

Sure will be a fun one to watch!

Do not tell me what to do, you idiot. I will post what i want to post. If i think Edina is going to take this game 4-1. that is my opinion. You can have your opinion as well.

I watched the edina tonka game and the goals that were scored by tonka were scored because of errors by the edina defensemen. I think edina's defense is going to tighten up on the errors and that will allow edina's offense to flourish.
And 4-1 is not an unrealistic score. The first tonka goal was on lousy 2 on 1 and the second was scored on a misplayed puck by an edina defensemen which led to a break away goal. these are easily correctable errors which i am pretty sure edina will correct. I have complete faith in edina's defense and they will play one of their best games of the year.

There is also one more fact. In the past when these two teams have met it has always been close the first time and then the second time comes its a blowout. usually in edina's favor.
Munch on that for a while. :D

well first of all, tonka defense didnt play amazing so you can say they will step it up also. The last two edina goals were weak. To gain the lead budish (i think) scored on his own rebound when the tonka defense should of easily got rid of the rebound , last goal was just a weak shot, tonka was just freaking out because edina was holding the puck in the corners. so dont even try to say the goals were weak by minnetonka, you could go either way about weak goals. And who cares what happend in the past, past years both teams were not in top 5 in state. Whos is to say there isnt going to be errors (by both teams) the game is going to be decided on what team can capitalize on those errors the most and most likely it will come down to the third period again and who plays better then.

And Edina scored purely because of skill and good play, right?

Here's your halo.
