That sounded like a heck of a game. I Falls could do some damage as we go on here.
Roseau keeps finding a way to win.

Its not "other" people who turn every thread into a Ness thread.

And I will call them on it E-V-E-R-Y time.

It wasn't about me. It wasn't about Ness. It WAS about Youso and Knockenmus. Let me clue you in, the world doesn't spin around Aaron Ness. I know you'll find that hard to believe....

Well for your info...I know that the world doesn't revolve around Ness. Ness is just one of the MANY great aspects of our TEAM. I do agree that we don't talk about other players as much and we should because they are all great players! So there......

If you wanted to pick a fight on your first day on the bored you should have started with a light weight like "Can't Never Tried" or "pistol".

Sorta like how these Roseau threads tend to turn into Roseau vs Edina threads. That's even more irritating.

For two periods, this was a great game. I gotta be honest here, from what I saw the Falls got flat outcoached on their home ice. They hit the panic button when they were down 2-0 and started double shifting the top line and flat burned them out. Some of there line matching needed some explaining. On the power play they kept a man on the far blueline when they couldn't even get the puck out of their own zone instead of bringing him back to the play for support. Kinda bush league I thought. Couple of penalties did them in. Couldn't believe the refs were from the Falls(recognized Bill Mason as one of them) and they called it tight on the home team and let the Rams slide on a few. Interesting home tactics. Over all a fun game to watch for two periods. The absolute definition of fire-wagon hockey. Give the Broncs some different benchmen and I'd love to see these two teams play again. Ness didn't disappoint, Hell the whole firstline didn't disappoint; Youso did. Luccia was there, wonder what he thought? Hope he gives the goaltender Hart some consideration down the road. He was standing on his lips the whole night. Lee? 'Nough's been said about him, and the good stuff was all true tonight. I even saw Chuck Grillo there. Any one know what he's doing these days?I even heard a Carey Eades sighting. Seems he's not well liked in that building and gets pointed out right away. Over all a great game in a packed Bronco arena.

Bummed, wish I was there. Sounded like a heck of a game. Any reported fish slinging?

No... now that you mention it I didn't get to see the famous (or should I say notorious) fish tossing. I got robbed.

If you've ever watched Mason ref a UMD game, you understand how he works. It'a abysmal.

How did Youso disappoint? He was very effective in the game, heck he had a breakaway like 20 seconds into it and drew a tripping call.

He made two notable plays the whole game. The play you referred to, and the goal. The kids got too much talent to make only two impressions in a game of this magnitude for his team. I noticed that he's too easily muscled off the puck if he ever gets to the boards to fight for it and he spends too much time waiting for his teammates to get him the puck... Don't get me started on his lack of back check. But in his defense, after watching tonights game I think he'll benefit greatly from a full season of coaching in G Bay. Has potential to take it to the pro level with some massaging. You can't coach that kind of speed.

Rams cashed in on their 2nd breakaway in about a minute. Youso backchecked and poked puck away from Knochenmus at last second on the first one.
Youso must be pretty dang quick to catch up to Knochenmus.
Youso did not catch him in time. Knochenmus whiffed it over the crossbar. Youso is fast though.

I don't agree that he disappointed, i agree that he is not a gem on defense, but almost all of the offense that the falls had started or ended with him, he had probably half the falls' shots and many of the other shots they got came from him.. if he did disappoint, i do not believe that it was from an offensive standpoint, maybe from the defensive side of the game.

This was a very exciting game. Things that were notable:
1. Mike Hart
2. Bronco students chanting "Over-rated" Things that make you go "hhhmmmm????" - no fish on the ice
3. Tyler Landman winning every face-off I saw against Jake Youso - WHy has nobody committed to this kid - or have they?
4. Rams penalty kill - Rams looked much better on penalty kill than at full strength.
5. Rams passing shone at times but was inconsistent.
6. Mike Lee made some huge stops even though he faced few shots.
7. Ram passing and teamwork could use some work - if they are going to beat the metros it needs to improve.
8. Ness playing keep away around his own net. Expected a little crisper passing from him.
9. Oliver had no assist on the scorecard, but really made the 1st two goals happen for Ness. Similar to the Bloomington Jefferson winning goal.
10. Suprised Landman, Nelson and moser are second line?
11. Roseau not able to finish off more of their chances.
12. Bronco's looked exhausted
13. Fabien taking the puck twice in a row from his teamate -shoulder blade then in the back of the leg - ouch
