Is there anybody in that town that isn't about to be signed or drafted? Where's Aaron Ness' grandma playing these days anyway?

I'm not anti-Roseau, but c'mon people. It's getting out of hand. Seriously.
I detect someone being a little jelous. I guess its just freedom of speach these people are aloud to let there voices be heard if they want, and talk about getting out much, you sure have alot of post. :)

As long as both sides remember that if one, or the other, or both loses...That freedom still exists  in other words no whining!

And miss the fun? No way. I'll be reading and highlighting the superlatives used in my thesaurus. When the page is all yellow I'll let you know so nobody wastes too much time coming up with fresh words of praise.

The passion for HS hockey in Roseau is a beautiful thing. Sometimes it gets misguided I feel, but threads on each player - like the Guinness ads... BRILLIANT!!

Roseau's like Dillon without the Applebee's. (Or does it have one too?)

Yeah, OTown, Yaso and Govs - I think you're all right! Why in the world are we wasting our time on the Minnesota High School Hockey message board talking about some of the good high school hockey players in the state?! We should be starting discussion threads about more important and interesting topics like - "Where's the best place in the state to get your skates sharpened?" and "What arena concession stand has the best nachos?"

And I detect sombody without a dictionary.

But I'm with Govs on this one. If you guys could keep the Roseau threads down to about 20 or so per page, we'd appreciate it.

IRA for your skates. Ask for Sam Rendle, he'll hook you right up. Gotta go with Mars on the Nachos - or maybe it was the Taco in a Bag. It's like a 5 pounder.

Right... I have a bunch of posts, but you'll notice that 90% of them aren't about one school and I'm not littering the bored with thread after thread about my favorite. I have no problem with hearing about Roseau (we need info from that area down here in the metro since they won't play anybody from here!), but the over-the-top worship of the current team, and overkill on the board is a little much. They evidently do no wrong.

And I may be "jelous", but I'm not sure, because I don't know what that is.

Sorry I forgot the a on my last post but I agree I think we should go on and talk about who has the best school song, who has the best and worst fans. God forbid we love our team and our support goes on and on. but some one always has to jump in and say enough already, lets remember you don't have to read the post if you don't want to.

Now back to the topic, Tyler is one of the hardest working kid that I have watched, I am sure there is someother kids that work as hard as he does on some other teams. And the nice thing about that is, that it has a trickle down affect to the whole team. So if your team is lucky enough to have someone that works as hard as Landman. Good for you! It is alot of fun to watch kids that work that hard.

Anybody know who the manager is for Roseau? I haven't heard that kid discussed yet.

Whoever it is, they're the best in the state, and I look forward to seeing that person pick up the pucks after Landman and Ness warm up in St. Paul.

Oslund and Wrightsman, it's hard to tell which one is better, they are both very skilled. Both are getting looks form several D-1 schools.

I never had a doubt!

Nice job, Ogee. Like I say, I like Roseau - evidently not as much as those residing north of Hwy 2 - but I do. You can bet that if they get to St. Paul along with most of the "favored" metro teams (Edina, HM, BSM), I'll be right there with you guys pulling for the Rams.

All I'm saying is that being that Roseau is such a great hockey town, and have that reputation statewide (if not beyond), I'd just hope to see a little more of a broader respect (for lack of a better word - I don't sense a whole lot of disrespect from that area) or acknowledgement for other teams around the state. I know there's an "us vs. them" mentality up there and that there's a pride of taking down a big metro school, but I'm here to tell you that many of us down here don't have that same view of northern schools (CNT and PB do, but you know... what do you expect from those two? ). I have no problem with Roseau, I just feel that the hero worship of the current team that seems to be forming does a little bit of a disservice to that area. I would never knock anybody for doing the same for past greats. That's all.
