D6 PWA Playoffs - Chaska and Eden Prairie on to regions

Post by hockeyrules22 »

EP defeats Apple Valley 5-4 in OT.

Chaska beats Edina 3-0

Burnsville, Apple Valley, Minnetonka and Edina to fight it out for the last team to go. Then it is the last three to determine what seed they get in regions.

Wow, that's a pretty huge win for Chaska. Pee Wee A, right? Apple Valley put up a great fight and lost a heartbreaker.

Thanks for the update.

Yes, PWA.

It was a HUGE win for Chaska and for that matter EP. Both games had alot at stake.

Congrats to all the teams - The last 2 nights have been very, very good hockey to watch.

Who will win the last spot for Regions:

AV, Burnsville, Tonka or the Hornets?

Well, it would be quite a story if Edina didn't get to regions. I think they went into the last game with EP at just one loss and were tied late, pulled the goalie in an attempt to win because fair play points were treating them less than fairly and lost to get to just 2 losses on the D6 year.

To lose twice more in District and not make Region would be a huge collapse. I'll call for them to make it out and in fact make it to State. Two of the four you list were around .500 in league so I'll dismiss their chances as slim.

I Think it's going to be AV and Edina battling for the last spot. That should be another GREAT game in a string of Amazing games this week in the D6 playoffs.

Did anyone see and hear that crowd lastnight in E.P. A.V. game, That's as loud and exciting game as I've seen in youth hockey in while it was so loud that at times the players couldn't hear whistles or horns.

I think your are right, but Tonka is going surprise somebody I bet.

The crowd was the loudest for a youth Hockey game I have ever heard. It was Rockin!

No Doubt! It was awesome to see and hear.

AV vs. BV- This game will be tough, I think BV has something to prove and AV has to forget about last night and FOCUS on the task at hand a VERY good BV team.

prediction

AV-3
BV-1

Edina vs. Tonka- can edina bounce back, can tonka score first and second, this game will be interesting last time they meet Tonka won 6-1 but that was then and this is now, I just don't see Edina losing but it's playoffs!

prediction

Edina-4
Tonka-1

AV 3 Burnsville 2

They went to 3 on 3 OT to end game.

AV wins on a Goal that sneaks in the inside post.
