Little falls is definately struggling. I wouldnt say completely in the tank but looking at the quality of there last few oponents and the margins of victory they are not playing there best hockey. Also when the team your playing isnt the best sometimes teams tend to play down to that level. Still think theres no chance of wadena winning however

With Alex's 8-4 win over sartell last night, Thursdays game against Lindberg's Faltering Floaters is shaking up to be a good matchup. Since we will be in Alex for the game i'm thinkin I should bring some hot wingz instead of the saurkraut. Maybe a few of the Alex players will smell the wingz and get hungry and take their mind of the game.
I hope the floaters don't fill their pants and make a mess of this section. I better bring some extra napkins.

Final Seeding Predictions
1. Little Falls
2. Alex
3. Fergus
4. Apollo
5. Sartell
6. Prairie Center
7. Wadena
8. Morris/Benson
9. Detroit Lakes
I think Sartell and Prairie Center could surprise a few of the top teams Sartell has had some good wins throughout the season and lost a couple of close games.
Just a side note it is really sad that Sartell a mid seeded team in this section beat New Ulm who will prolly be one of the top seeded teams in 3A 5-2. What a joke 3A is you could take any of the top 6 teams from this section and they would win in 3A, but i guess you could do that with just about any section.

I heard it will be today. There are other sections that are seeding today as well. The play-in game is on Saturday, so I would think they want to give theses teams as much advanced notice as possible.GopherPuckPlayer wrote:I would think they wouldnt be able to seed untill the regular season is over, though I could be wrong, maybe Demon can fill us in on that one!snakedude11 wrote:does anyone know what day the seedings come out? A lot of sections (most???) will seed their sections tonight.
As for demons rankings, I think they're pretty accurate except the situation going on at the 5/6 seeds with Prairie Centre and Sartell.
I think Prairie Centre might slide in there and steal that five spot.
They've got a better record than Sartell, although they've played a softer schedule. They also have a better in-section record than Sartell. Many may bring up strength of schedule...but that's comparing apples to oranges. What's better?...having a bad record against good teams or a good record against bad teams. Too subjective, so throw that out.
So, the only objective reasoning we can go to is common opponents. Sartell is 3-5-1 against common opponents, while Prairie Centre is 5-3-1.
But, the question is whether or not the coaches will say that wins over Alex and Apollo will warrant a number 5 seed for Sartell...who knows?

Yeah that was hard decision for me PC or Sartell because they didn't play each other. I picked sartell because of their non-section schedule (i understand that it doesn't mean as much) but thats the way it goes. 5-6 is a toss up. Most sections will seed tonight I believe there are a couple that are doing it after thursdays games. Are the coaches actually meeting or are they faxing in their seedings (i know a few sections aren't meeting mostly cause of travel)George Blanda wrote:A lot of sections (most???) will seed their sections tonight.

Final Seeding Predictions
1. Little Falls no brainier
2. Fergus won and tied Alex. Won when it counted and that puts them ahead
3. Alex tougher schedule and close game with LF at the end, but still behind FF
4. Sartell split w/Alex, tie and loss with FF above. Tougher schedule than below
5. Prairie Center overall record, not much play in section, my guess.
6. Wadena tie and loss to PC, won Sartell early,
7. Apollo only section win is Sartell, lost twice to FF, Alex and LF both.
8. Detroit Lakes did win FF early, but schedule strength not there.
9. Morris/Benson
