Hey White Bear, I appreciate what he does! Why can't you?wbl92 wrote:Hey govs93, your team is playing a bunch of patsies. Calm down, there's no need to update us every 30 seconds. I don't think there was anyone who really wondered who would win this game.

It was requested of him, and he honored that. Who requested you to whine about something that doesn't concern you?wbl92 wrote:Hey govs93, your team is playing a bunch of patsies. The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs
Hey newbie... go find my other update posts. I give every game the same treatment... update after every goal, update after every period and the final. I didn't treat this one any different.wbl92 wrote:Hey govs93, your team is playing a bunch of patsies. Calm down, there's no need to update us every 30 seconds. I kept trying to answer this from the game, but they kept pumping in goals, so I couldn't get back to it. Here's what they did to the arena...Pioneerprideguy wrote:I know they upgraded the arena there from the typical county arenas. Are there seats on both sides? How high to the bleachers go up? Trying to get a visual of the arena.
For the seating, it's still only one side, but they got rid of the ratty old wood bleachers and put in aluminum ones that run longer down the length of the ice and go from the glass to the south wall - 10 rows deep and I think 5 sections. I don't know what the capactity on those is now, but I would guess 400-500. It looks like there's still room to expand that at some point.
In addition to the expanded seating, they added on about 15 feet (my best guess) to the north side of the building (near the baseball field) which gives the Governors a permanent lockerroom behind their bench. They also added new lockerrooms in one corner, and expanded one in another. They painted the place too... white... very bright white. I wouldn't have minded to see a little more color in there, but it's bright and clean.
They also added "Lou's Warminghouse" and a ticket booth to the lobby. "Lou's Warminghouse" is named after Lou Cotroneo and contains concessions and a lot of Governor/Hawks/East Side hockey memorabilia - including the "Herb Brooks Wall".
