tonka does play brainerd tonight, omg common opponent as roseau
Thats right Condor.

Comparative scores become even more meaningless if you ignore where the the 2 teams were in their schedule when they played their commom opponent(s).

Edina played Brainerd in the Schwan's Cup which probably means they had just played a couple of good teams and knowing Edina's schedule, were going to play another good team when Schwans was over.

Roseau probably played Brainerd sandwiched between games vs Frostbite Falls and Flannel Shirt High.

It makes a big diffrence, I think every one will agree.
More brilliant jiberish from pukeboy

Edina played Brainerd after Brainerd beat lowly CDH in the Silver Division of the Schwan's Cup.

True but it doesnt make up for the football game nor does it make the Rams schedule any less cushy.

If your excuse for your beloved northwoods heros' schedule is distance, how do you explain Mororhead's schedule being ranked top 10?

Da Spuds aren't exactly 15 minutes from either downtown, as we metro folks like to say.

The SPuds can drive to the cities, drive back home and have supper in the time it takes us to get there if the roads are good and our bus driver speeds a little! If you get a chance sometime drive north of St. Cloud, there is a quite a bit of state up here. :?

Don't listen to what packerboy says, he's just looking for someone from Roseau to argue with. If you want to argue this point with him, that's up to you, but he won't stop. This horse he's been beating about Roseau's schedule was dead 3 weeks ago.

Another strong response. Were you on any debate teams BIAFP? How was your schedule?

High, I think 43 is a high-school age kid. Great that he has such school pride.

Maybe next week when those pollsters re-vote they'll consider that all people from Edina genuinely have no problem with folks from Duluth, the Range, or remote NW Minnesota. The same can't be said for the reciprocal.

Ponder.

Kind of like poison ivy.......if you ignore it - it's supposed to go away and you're not supposed to scratch it, but it's just so darn annoying that you can't help but scratch it!!

Talk about the same old crap.

"Oh, it's just so hard for us to do but its easy for Moorhead because they have everything and we dont.....".

And then BIAFP trying to wriggle out of the whole issue by degrading Moorhead's fine courageous program out there playing a top notch schedule.

Just terrible.

Well hf43 , unless BERG and his buddy HF1 get an ocean of calamine lotion, that doesnt seem too likely.

We should be happy the the tournament will be seeded so whatever happens, happens Friday night or after. Hopefully it will go #1 Edina, #2 Roseau and #3 Minnetonka/BSM.

Until that time, dont get any cat scratch fever.

They gave Edina too much credit last year and seeded them #1. I doubt they will make that same mistake again. #1 Roseau, #2 BSM (they beat Edina) #3 Edina

But BIAFP, the Hornets have won the trophy nine times, more than any other team. We've discussed that.

Are you sure you weren't referring to Moorhead? These threads can get confusing.

Lets see how good Edina's super team does this year. [-( If they make it that far.
