The rematch would make for some great TV hockey instead of showing the ice forming around peoples mouths as they try to breath up north.

The State of Hockey doesn't revolve around a bunch of metropolitan pansies  Maybe they should show an outdoor game in the metro with the black cancerous smog freezing around peoples faces
Oh yah, well neither does it revolve around a bunch of goofs who are too dumb to come in out of weather thats too cold for human life to survive in let alone play hockey...and want everybody to see it on TV.

The players looked like they were all wearing long underwear made of some kind of hard metal.

And the smog down here doesnt freeze, its too dense.
They were not too dumb, Fox would not let them out of the contract. Not sure the penalty if they had told Fox where to go?

Thats right BIAFP, schedule Edina. They will fly the team up in a corporate jet. Then you wont have any more excuses for the poor northern boys and their schedule.

Say,ah,... is there any place to land?

Edina will need to earn their right to play Roseau in the State Finals, money doesn't cut it for the boys with tradition

No tradition in edina i geuss??

So the poor witto Rams don't have enough $$$$$ to come down south, Edina offers to make the trip north, and are rebuked. Sounds like a dodge.

Maybe the #1 ranking is more important to the northern folk than previously stated.

Typical behavior of a "soft schedule" mentality.
You are a tool - are you and Packerboy related?

Cost, time, travel - it all adds up, but it doesn't matter to you apparently what the reasons are, you just want to complain about it.

Coaches were still upset that the game was played in the extreme conditions. They made it known the game would be played at the memorial in town Saturday morning - but apparently Blaine left their hockey bags in Baudette the night before, and I'm guessing all the other "stuff" involved from FSN played a part in it! If you think Roseau or their fans liked playing in this crap, you're mistaken.

Would have much rather watched it indoors - regardless if it were shown on TV or not.

If you read what was said around here the week leading up to the game, a vast majority of the Roseau backers couldn't wait to have the "citiots" come up and get "schooled" out in the cold. If I were to ballpark it based on the posts here, I'd say about 80% got just what they wanted.

I thought it was a neat idea in concept - as an "event" , but not in -42 below windchill. :?

It is, and I agree, but it sure was a vocal crowd in here that wanted the kids from the city to feel the cold. Well, they have been for the last month down here, and they did in Baudette as well.

Buffalo lost to Roseau 3-0...I think the Edina blowout was a by product of the Style Buffalo played that night...not making excuses but MTKA played very hard and had their chances...to Buffalo's credit they hung there and played considerably better then they had the past couple nights out.

Actually not for a Jet....a King Air will land nicely though...Jet has to land in Warroad.

Perfect. The evil rich metro boys can fly into Warroad; play them and then rent a really expensive coach bus with one of those Vista View things on the top (Ah, do you have thoses up there?) to go back and forth to Roseau

The poor little Catholic team of Hill -Murray is heading up to Moorhead this weekend but they dont have a jet. They are walking.

The wind will be in their face both ways but some teams are willing to do it in order to have a solid schedule. Imagine that.
