Nice call Lee, no offense but that title should of been from 5AA.

I just think its ridiculous to have Rapids, Cloquet, and East in a southern section. Put them in a northern one!!!

Anoka was in 4AA that season. I was referring to the last time the winner of 7AA won state.

But here is a brutal stat; the last three times the 7AA rep made the state finals, they lost by a combined score of 18-1.

Noka or East; should be one of these

I'll take East at DECC

If Rapids goalie plays well again, one never knows...

I would have to say East.
They have been the most consistent all year.
There should be some great matchups.

It would be a dirty shame if Anoka represented section 7AA

Then allz we'd need is for Buffalo to upset Rozo and then go on to win section 8AA #-o

It would be inconceivable to not have any Northern teams in the state AA tournament :-s

With that said, I'd like to see Rapids represent section 7AA :-k

I think that East will be taking the trip down to St. Paul when it is all said and done but the fact is that Anoka has been inconsistent all year. They have a lot of fire power on offense and if their top players being Belisle, O'Neill, and Scott can catch fire the Hounds may have their hands full trying to slow the Tornadoes down...
but im still picking and hoping for the Hounds to make it back

Games are now at 10AM and Noon to accomodate UMD men's and women's hockey games later in the day.

That's one busy day at the DECC

7AA was originally a northern section i thought.....wasn't Andover, Elk, and Anoka placed in their recently like past 3 years (and brainerd and Northern lakes left)

Its not Anokas fault, Forest Lakes fault, Andovers fault, Elk Rivers fault, Cambridges fault, St. Francis's fault, nor the MSHSL's fault. If you can get 8-9 teams in the north to go AA, do it. Otherwise shut up about this being a "northern" section.

GO TWISTERS!!!!
