Could be some interesting semi finals if the top 4 advance. TG might have the best chance to knock off STA and SSP will have to try to beat Mahtomedi for a 3rd time.
The only teams who could possibly beat STA would be SSP or Mahtomedhi - and these would be huge upsets. Totino is not good enough to beat them, not even an upset. Nobody is going to beat STA. Who voted for Minnehaha?
i believe mahtomedi could come away with an upset against STA. STA beat them 7-1 but in the 2nd game 3-2 which was a very good game, so i think mahtomedi will take it.
I don't think anybody will touch STA in sections. I think the worst thing to happen to SSP and Mahtomedi was having STA get defeated in the fashion that they did to Hill Murray. I bet that put a bad taste in STA's mouth and they will play some inspired hockey.
I agree. I don't know how upsetting the HM game was to STA, I just think they are a great team and these others, although good, just are not in the same talent class as STA.
